So, yeah.
There were a good handful of candidates for the writing assistance. However, they all either had something come up or it was just too much; both completely understandable. I appreciate everyone's desire to help out, but for now I'm going to put a halt on the assistant searching, although if you're one of those I was interested in and you find more time later, feel free to give me a poke if you're still interested in helping out.
As such, I'm gonna go back to writing things on my own. However, all this pressure I'm putting on myself to get Jamie done hasn't helped. With all the things I planned for Nimin, I've gotten stuck with more plans than I can handle and I just need to put it down for a bit.
Granted, I have put it down for a while, actually (it's nearing a year since the last update!). But, I am not completely creatively drained. In the time of this hiatus, I've started work on two more, much smaller, flash text games, as well as a board game. None of which has gotten that far, but it feels good to do new things without restraint, a bit of a mental break.
So, right now I don't know what's going to come next with Nimin. I'm also not going to force myself to think about it either. It's better if I come back to it with a fresh view. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can do that, but it will happen when it happens. I'm especially hoping to actually get into one of these side games to get myself back into the swing of things, because it's been so long since I've written a full story. We'll see.

FA+

That, and I have been busy with matters involving college and matters involving potential loss of sanity. I am currently facing depression, or believe I am facing it.
Unless you could get or buy or use alchemy to make some kind of magical item to let land race go underwater or aquatic races to go on land. That might work. But it still seems like it would take a huge effort expand the world.
That said, I'd love to see some more content with those adorable octo-girls :) If you did want to make an aquatic race, that's the one I'd vote for.
Or...with plenty of milk, pre, and/or vag fluids, that might give you all the hydration you need, like in the desert. Heh, I'm thinking I like where this is going!
That said? Yeah, just take it nice and easy. Shell be there when you wanna return to her~
Release Nimin as an engine, and make the various stories modules. Then all you need is to supply documentation about story variables and values, and people could write their own stuff or download what they want!
Keep your stuff in there as a base set, but then Nimin could grow into an almost open source, ever expanding entity similar to Elecbyte's MUGEN. :D (Or any Bethesda game lul)
This would task you only with engine updates, immediately releaving you of most of the writing blocks you talked about before! :)
Just get someone to put in something as a placeholder. Game developers have traditionally put various portions of their projects on hold while they continue to develop the rest of the core project. You'll need to regroup and move around the problem, rather than through it for now.
