I heard creepy stories about starting up the car in the morning, opening locks and clearing away snow infront of doors in Canada and Alaska.
European part of Russia doesn't seem to be such cold and evil place after that. )

in my area we have that at winter if your car is not parked under a covered area, you have a layer of frost on the outside and inside your car. Its because of all the moisture in the air because I live on the Coast.
