The magic of ponies
This past weekend I went to a small local con. Bakuretsu Con in Colchester, VT. The only suit I really wore was my Twilight Sparkle. It was nice to be able to suit at a smaller con and still get so love for a pony. There were a few things that made it a great con though.
The first being that most everyone loved the pony. I ignored the haters. I put so many smiles on so many faces, including little kids. I think I really made there lives a little brighter. One little girl was dressed as Strawberry Shortcake. It was adorable.
What really made it shine was the fact that I was able to inspire someone to make their own suit. Plus they were having a rough time and I was able to help make it a better con for them.
All in all this has proven, once again, that if you do what you love then you can make the others around you happy as well.

Calico and I and a couple others did a boo at the zoo. We only went to grab pictures for ourselves of us next to the animals, but we couldn't move for kids wanting pictures with us and wanting hugs. We only got a handful of pictures for ourselves as the people there smothered us.
But it made our day.
We got tired from all the bending down for kid hugs that we rushed out of the zoo so we could take our heads off. Although the Zoo assistant manager called the cops on us and we were questioned in the parking lot of the zoo for 20 minutes (whilst we were dying and exhausted)....And the police sergeant called us weirdos...fun times
There were still parents bringing their children up to us whilst the police questioned us and took IDs lol
