We interrupt Nano, for this very special Announcement.
Welcome. It's that time of year again! A celebration of Yule Tide joy and Fun. Which means it's time for "Warnndog's and Kojiro's Christmas Party". Every fur out there is welcome to come, so please pass the word around. I know me and Koji don't get out much, so if you know anyone who is furry and may not keep up with live journal please pass the word along.
As you know when we started this event, we only had 15 people at most show up and now we've doubled our size, I also know the Oklahoma furry community has grown. Since our numbers are increasing, we recommend you RSVP, either by Email or Facebook if possible. If you are going to email me, please put the words "Christmas Party" in the subject line. This email is not solely to include just yourself, if you know others who have stated they might join please let me know. This is not a necessity, so don't feel that you are obligated but it is highly encouraged.
Food. Money unfortunately is going to be tight this year for us. Many of the things we provided last year, gift bags, etc. We may not have for this year’s event. I will at least provide Cookies, I don’t know if I can provide the Jello Shots and Eggnog. This party is also a potluck event, which really depends on you. If you can please bring what you can. Also since it’s very unlikely I will be providing the Jello shots or Eggnog this year (A good potluck item if your interested), I will be bringing no alcohol to the event, so please if you want booze, bring it. If you want to be really loved, bring enough to share. Also if you are skilled at mixing drinks, your talents may be needed as well.
Events. White Elephant Gift game is still ago. If you want to participate you must bring a gift worth FIFTEEN DOLLARS or less NO EXCEPTIONS! If you do feel the need to bring something worth more than that, please contact me, and I have a few ideas we can work out. Most of the rules for the game can be found on Wiki. Check it out. We are running a variant, you can either contact me or Kojiro, if you want to know what the changes are, but we will go over the rules at the start of the game. We strongly discourage gag gifts if at all possible, they're funny, but not everyone enjoys them.
Last year we had a guess the Candy Game. Which we though was fun, as of right now we have no big prize set for this game. Except for the Jar of Candy. That may change, if you guys have any cheap suggestion or feel you want to donate. Please email me.
We will not be providing the Gingerbread house this year, money is tight as it is. If you want to have the Gingerbread house, maybe you can bring it as part of your potluck item.
Place. We're going to have the Party at Baral’s and Skylor’s. I'm sorry if I missed anyone. If you see any of these guys, please thank them and if they come up to you and give you an order, please follow it. I will be working with them, and will stand behind any decision they make. Since alcoholic beverages are present, ID's will be checked. I would appreciate the use of some common sense. Don’t get too wasted, don’t drink and drive and if your not twenty-one, please don’t drink period.
