Aaaarrrggghhh!! [Work Vent]
I thought I would love this job because dude, I work with games. I have experience in retail and I do well with it, and I work two jobs.
But my Manager is just such a total bitch.
Not only have I worked 50 hours and not been paid yet...but they have me doing mundane, moronic tasks and I only have TWELVE DAYS [now eleven] of work for THREE MONTHS!
Now I did goof a bit. I took on way too many hours than I could handle for my first week and I understand that, so some days at Armageddon I looked "unhappy" I was actually exhausted. I'm used to doing like 3-6 hour shifts not fucking ELEVEN. So pardon me if I look a bit tired and unhappy, ungrateful swines.
I also couldn't make it to the training because of transportation. I'm not even meant to be working this much at all after all my damned health issues.
So excuse me while I miss out so that I don't get sick again.
Now the manager wants to come into my workplace and [most likely] bitch at me for it. I really thought she was a good, nice woman but it seems it's merely a front to the customers.
This is my first proper job since I got free of my childhood dilemmas and I am already looking for a new job. I am extremely disappointed, I feel let down.
IDK if this is commonplace for newbies or if it's just me because I "look tired" but far out, guys, get your act together :T.
