Well, I've been avoiding it and just watching since this shite went down. So now that everybody and their mother has jumped ship, I figured I'd put in my 2 cents.
Firstly, I do not condone or support or encourage cub-art. However, I also realize they are only fictional characters in fictional situations. Just as I do not condone, support, or encourage sex with real animals - yet I may find an illustration of an animal/anthro arousing. They are two completely different worlds, my friends. If you're uncomfortable with it - fine. That's fine. No skin off my back. No skin off my back either if someone wants to draw underage characters in comprimising situations. I'm not going to go out of my way to point fingers and yell and scream about how wrong it is. I'm simply going to harbor my own private thoughts about the artist/art, try my best to avoid it, and move on.
Come on people. It's the godamn internet.
What exactly were you expecting?
People should be MORE UPSET over the fact that there ARE KIDS on this site that look at the porn that YOU ARTISTS OUT THERE are uploading. Not that you pay any attention WHATSOEVER to their age, obviously, because I always see a crapton of "OH MRR THX FOR THE WATCH <3333" on these kid's page and not an ounce of "HOLY CRAP YOU'RE ONLY 15 WTF HOW ARE YOU SEEING MY DOG-PEOPLE FUCKING EACHOTHER!?!"
For the record (oh lovely, wise, beautiful admins) THAT is an issue that doesn't sit well with me and has made me consider pulling my adult stuff a few times. What good is marking it mature or adult when a minor can still access it? I would rather see the godamn cub porn than continue to have to check EVERY SINGLE WATCHER to see if they are underage and then bitch at the admins about it, which I have done NUMEROUS times.
I've also made complaints about this before but I won't air publically how I feel about the response.

Hypocrisy at its finest eh? But never mind that we are contributing to the delinquency of a minor, we have someone ELSES porn to complain about.
I guess they desperately wanted those fav's from the minors eh?
I also wish there was a way to block certain people from veiwing my work at all because I KNOW they are minor and they have not been removed or dealt with. :/
But yes. This whole issue is hypocricy at it's finest.

Stupid internet. AH WELL point is I'm not leaving FA and being a whiney bitch about it. XP Of course, I understand some people leaving on moral grounds but I just can't take the "OH NOES people will associate that filk with MY WONDERFUL WORK (of dragons and dog-people fucking) if I stay here!" crap. I also don't like all this ego-boosting going on with the "well known" or "respected" artists or whatever and the subsiquent whining of "OHHH SO AND SO LEFT LOOK WHAT YOU DID FA! SHAME! THEY WERE SO POPULAARRRRRR and now we all are SUFFERING FOR IT D: D: D: Waaaaaah!"

btw, agree on most parts. The 'registering' process shouldn't be as easy... but you know that if they start banning/blocking or whatever the underage-ers then those kids are just going to lie about their age... not much to do about it then unless they slip up and tell someone their real age who does something about it. :/
But yeah.. these kids get on my nerves. I mean - granted, they are going to see it somehow either way. B ut if it can be avoided on a controlled and structured site, then why not avoid it? I also understand they will lie about their age in order to veiw everything on the site. But when it states clearly on their userpage that they are 15, talk about being 15 in their journals, etc etc - something should be done about it. I even have convos from one of my watchers (whom I don't want watching me, and wish there were a way to ban them) with them stating their age to me. It's ridiculous. x_x

however - and I want to make this clear - I do not condone the viewing of my artwork by minors ! its adult artwork !
I have heard more and more anbout kids getting in here (this has bee repeated a few times during this issue) and I hope soemthing can be done to stop minors getting in here and sees what they aren't supposed to be.
But I do love FA and the friends and artists I've met here. I just wish it were better.
