Yes, we'll sadly, when you have a lot of pets, the chance of this sort of thing happening goes up a lot.

Still, I hate to see my nieces sad. They deserve a break after all they've gone through.

First off, I admire you for being such a kind man. Sadly, this could happen to anyone, I hope those little girls feel better soon.

You're right could happen to anyone. I don't even blame the dog in this case, if it wanted the hamsters dead, they'd be gone already. it was probably just playing, not realizing the damage she was doing.

luckily by nights end, one of the hamsters was acting like it would pull through, the question mark there I think, is if it will be able to keep food down or not. It's moving around enough that I think it can heal from the injuries, but only if it keeps is strength up.

The other hamster is a lot more iffy. It's smaller, and moving around a lot less. It could survive, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Hopefully, at least one survives, I think it'd be a little easier on the girls.

Anyhow I don't really consider myself kind, im not sure why, I feel like that would be boastful of me. Still, these girls don't have much of a male figure in their lives right now, so i have a responsibility to do what I can for them.
