No fursona yet - nearing 14 years in the fandom and still haven't decided on one. XD

Easy questions: What sorta work do you do, and why are you so bored at it? (asks the guy using work-time to ask you questions...heh)

I work in quality assurance for a company that designs the media for digital photo printers. Decent pay-the-bills job, but none too exciting.

Folf cuz I couldn't decide between fox and wolf, and blue cuz it's awesome and black is overused anyway. Mostly fantasy with a but o' reflection. Question: are peacocks over glorified turkeys?

Peacocks are the Liberace of turkeys.

I chose a siamese because of how intellegent, sly, cute, mischievous and lazy/awesome they are not to mention best suited me for the roll I play. Always getting their way by any means necessary.

Plus they're extreamly rare in the fandom (I still think I'm the only one, main sona wise) so that is always welcoming. It does get a tad lonely though. Being blind is something I have to deal with everyday but it's a welcomed addition. Not many folks likes a fursona with disabilities much less a person. I personally believe having a flaw is beautiful; perfection is ugly.

I chose my fursona because (1) I like deer anthros a lot, and (2) I first broke into the fandom by drawing Bambi and friends, so a deer sona seemed appropriate. My fursona is more of a slut than I am, but other than that it's basically me.

Recently went from anthro dragon to anthro deer. Cuz deer are cute, and their tails are fluffy. My 'sona has become more and more a reflection of me than it used to be.

Well, real foxes I think are adorable. As for anthro foxes, they're nice too but the design can be a bit generic since it's used so often in the fandom. Not hatin', just sayin'

Funny after all my time here, I still can't tell foxes apart. They all look the same to me.

Any comic by  powfooo. Perfect blend of caricature, humor, and sex appeal.

Simba because I fucking fell in LOVE with Lion King once I "really" saw it in late middle school, snuck downstairs to watch it quietly every night for a year.

I miss my productive streak as well. Unfortunately, as I've begun to put more detail into my art, it takes more and more time to create. That, coupled with the fact that my free time is drastically reduced from what it was back then, means my art flow will likely remain sparse for now.

I know the feeling, I had a pretty damn productive streak in music awhile back as well, but now that I have bills to pay and a day job to pay them, means I ain't creating nearly as much inspiration as I was before

I can't think up too many TMI-type questions that even hint at originality so I'll go with what was partially answered above already: how slutty are you IRL? (me, I got plenty of fantasies, that's why I'm in the fandom, but too shy to have had a single encounter IRL thus far)

I picked the deer because I have often been fascinated by deer for a long time and wanted to express my liking of them somehow, and doing this with a fursona was the perfect way to do it. :) My character is pretty much me IRL as a whole, so it's a bit of fantasy but also reflects me for who I am.

Question: How long does it normally take you to complete a picture?

I feel like I'm a pretty slow artist. If I had no other commitments, a fully shaded, 2 character pic with a background would probably take about a week. Sadly, I never have anywhere near a week of free time, so it ends up taking longer.

Well I've got a few characters at this point.. I'm not sure which to call my main character anymore. My original character was nothing more than me as a fox and more well dressed and a bit more uppity/snooty.... I originally chose fox on a whim the first time I was asked what animal I was and after a moment of confusion I realized I didn't have a fursona and I made a quick decision on that spot to be a fox( I thought it fit me well enough but I was super close to being a cat of some sort) When I got my fursuit I decided that my characters hair didn't really work as a fursuit and I wanted to be a little more unique than just an orange fox (OOOH WOW A PLATINUM FOX MUCH MORE UNIQUE :P)

Eventually I started spending much more time on the fursuit character (for pretty obvious reasons) and used him as an outlet for previously unrevealed interests... I guess if you know my original character you're a bit more OG and I still use his name with a lot of people, but Mercury has become more of a main one in daily use

Also my question: What's your favorite subject matter to draw, as in positions or types of characters. (yes that's a sort of thinly veiled real life question *coughs* haha)

And I guess to be more specific on why a fox... Foxes are aloof and pretty looking from far away, then you get close to them and realize they are strange and goofy and way less dignified then they let on at first, also they've got a lot of personality variation some are almost like dogs affection wise, others don't want anything to do with anyone. So there's a lot of variability in personality

I enjoy drawing cowgirl or reverse cowgirl positions the most I think. Not sure why. As for types of characters, I enjoy drawing males with a degree of muscle tone but not excessive, well-endowed males but not hyper, and... butts. I like drawing guys with nice butts.

I actually have two fursonas, because the first doesn't fully reflect me. They are both otters because that is who I feel best reflect me and my personality overall, and they then split, emulating the two sides of my personality. They are who I'd truly be if I was able to.

For my TMI question, I want to know, why is your username SigmaX? Especially with the X there.

Lol the reason isn't very interesting. I just thought Sigma was a cool sounding word so I used it as my name. I added the "X" because pronz.

Long ago, (in an otter pond far, far away), I wasn't happy with who I was. I wanted to be happier, friendlier, nicer, less worried and more fun. So I made a list of traits I wanted to have. I'd just gotten into Furry and the animal it was most like was an otter. That's why I chose Otter as my fursonna. I try to be like one everyday. So far it's worked pretty well.

What do you think make somebody a slut and do you approve of them?

Hmm, I guess I would say a slut is someone who sleeps around a lot. Just a general definition. And I approve, as long as they enjoy that lifestyle and they're not hurting anyone else.

My fursona is a Chameleon (Veiled to be specific). He reflects my personality. People say I am kind of an odd duck amongst many others, but not in a bad way. More like my humor & thought process is offbeat. Like for example; a majority of people like to listen to rock, rap, country, or dance. While I do listen to dance, my main genre of tunes is opera, easy-listening, along with a blend of other weird shit.Also, when it comes to group events, I tend to either blend and fit right in, or I stick out like a sore thumb. Henceforth, my reason behind being a chameleon. :3

The reason I picked my Sona Kangaroo, is cause Growing up I always had a fascination with Free running or AKA Parkour, and I guess that part of that trains to preform such stunts is based on the kangaroo's hopping and jumping. The reason his color scheme is orange and black, Is cause I had a obsession with the colour orange, so much I wanted to get it dyed neon orange, but my parents would not allow till I basically bargained with them to get my hair tips dyed only...and they agreed and being naturally jet black hair...It looked fucking awesome and it stuck...and the kangaroo stands at 5'4" weighing 120 lbs (estimated) like me....so yeah my fursona is heavily based on me in reality...Mentally and Physically.
motivation for this choice is cause if I had real life attributes to my sona, it would have more of a natural and close bond between me and my furry image. Making it feel more personal to me as a sona then slapping complete different sona...

I run constantly to be honest, Etheir one I am playing Killing floor or various games, or 2 out running and jumping around listening to my music. and thats been my schedule for years...$ might be pushing it honestly but its pretty far I am just focused on whats a head of me so it is a rough estimate to be brutally honest.

Mine is just a more dark, classy and hostile version of myself. I kept the personality roughly similar to what I think mine would be in his situation. Although I do distance myself from him at some level because I still do consider us two completely separate people, or furs or whatever you'd like to call it.

All in good fun I'd say, but its still an important character that I've created.

A lot of people rag on foxes, calling us common and whatnot, but that's not really fair. I've developed a lot of different characters over the years, but each time, I keep coming back to Goji as he is. I cannot change him without ruining what he is to me. His colors are my favorite, soft and gentle. Like me, he's happy yet shy, at times clueless, playfully destructive, and sexual. I may like other species, but I am only one.

I was originally a dolphin, because I like smooth and slippery. After a year or three (can't remember exactly how long) I felt that it wasn't fitting me too well. The dolphin was just too small. So I created my current persona, the 4 meter tall orca.

I'm sure I have at some point. Usually when one of my commissioners submits my work to their gallery I get an unexpected spike in activity. Other than that it's pretty predictable. As for how many unread messages I've had at most... after posting art, I usually get an influx of like 800 to 1000 messages. I guess that counts.

I chose a mule deer because I spent a good 6 years or so hunting them <<; spending all that time out in their habitat gave me a large respect for them and they are freakin' cool animals! So I made mahself one :p
