You under estimate the retardedness this fandom is capable of. There are furries who would act like that. In front of a camera.

A select few yes, but you also underestimate of how many smart and down to earth people there are in the fandom and they have enough sense not to act like that infront of the camera.

Of course we have intelligent people in the fandom. Quite a few in fact. However, people tend to focus on the turd in the punch bowl and not the punch.

That is the sad truth, but there are many who are trying to put the fandom in a good light. With charity events, donations, auctions, and public appearances. If we all just focus on just the good parts instead of mostly the bad parts of the fandom, we won't become bitter people.

Haha okay that sounded kinda harsh so I deleted it. Basically they can't get any actual furs to agree to go on TV anymore, so they pay actors to wear the cheapest, ugliest costumes they can find and act out the stereotype for the cameras. People who don't know any better eat it up. Those costumes in the vid are mass produced mascot type things you can get online, I'd like to think no actual fur would be caught dead wearing that mess on TV to represent the fandom.

Lol yeah I saw that, its actually a good example of furries being forced into a negative light even when they do nothing wrong. I thought the suiters were adorable & actually performed really well. I heard they actually didn't smell at all and the whole thing with Ashley spending the whole segment bitching about them was just for the cameras, if it wasn't for her the whole thing would have just been cute & funny.

Yeah i saw that and laughed pretty hard, it was great. I so wanna give those guys a high five for doing it, even if Ashley stayed true to her 'bitch persona'.
