Getting back to our roots.

The gay liberation movement was originally
born on the hot June streets of the west
village when a bunch of fairys, faggots
and street transvestites decided they'd had
enough of being dragged out of bars by the
police, taken downtown, photographed and
their names published in the next morning's
papers for the crime of wanting to congregate
with other gay people. Their anger and
righteous rage set a match to the tinderbox
and rocked the village with a week of rioting
and eventually gave birth to the Gay Liberation
Front, a radical political organization that wanted
our rights as human beings and wouldn't take
"NO" for an answer. They eventually schizimed
and gave birth to the Gay Activist's Alliance,
Brooklyn United Gays and dozens of other
small organizations, each a bit less radical and
a little more moderate and less inclined to
rock the boat, until we come to today when
the radical old guard and the more out front
youngsters are disavowed and are told to
not screw in the streets and frighten the
straights and just maybe if we ask nicely enough
they'll allow us a few crumbs from their table of riches.
Well you know something? Speaking as one of
the old guard I'm not inclined to be quiet. I
think it's time to get back to our roots and
shake things up a bit and give these straight
bigots a taste of our gay rage. I never thought
I'd feel the need to advocate violence, but in
the case of the Mormon Church, I'm willing to
make an exception......
BURN IT DOWN!!!!!!!

I won't try t act as if I have been where you've been T... but I abhor violence in the name of rocking the boat. Sometimes it is called for, but the bloody battles tat wage through out the world in the name of hatred is simply too much on all fronts.
I can be at peace with any individual and their beliefs... but I become afraid and angry when confronted by a mob of any sort.
Trust me - in another time I would have been burned at the stake.

Also, no, please keep it in your pants in public, noone should be 'screwing in the streets', not gays, not straights, not anyone.
As for the violence, well, I can understand the emotions behind it, but anything like that just causes backlashes, more fear, and more hatred. Burning people's churches down isn't going to change their minds -- or their hearts.
Also, yeah, I'm echoing quickbrownfox here -- gay, straight, or otherwise, sex belongs in private...
