I think in highschool it was math- I was pretty good at it so I didn't have to pay attention that much, and I liked our teacher very much, it was all very relaxing. In junior high school it was history- we had an amazing teacher, he made a not-really-interested-in-history girl into winner of multiple history competitions haha
Chemistry. It has aided me numerous times in my day to day life, it's also the only subject I have any recognition for, as I'm qualified as Analyst/Technician. One of the reasons why Voss (Albino Peacock) is Hungary is homage to Csaba Horváth who built the first HPLC, which it's modern variant formed part of my undergrad thesis before I became ill. (Thus I don't have a degree in Chemistry per se, but I have some weird 2nd year cert, which did get me a few job offers.)
Stage Technology. Being given the opportunity to mess around with and figure out how tens of thousands of dollars in lighting, audio, and rigging technology works is awesome. Not to mention that because I did a lot of research on my own, I'm now the person that knows the most about all of the systems, giving me a lot of opportunities to build my portfolio. Staying at school until ten at night makes our crew really close-knit, creating a really positive atmosphere for creativity and cooperation.
Blasting Electronic Dance Music while running a pre-programmed light show full of crazy effects and holding a dance party on the stage is a bonus, too.
oooh.... um..... >~< UM.......
I guess math...
it was fun for a bit when I got the formulas till
I had to relearn a new way of doing things then getting everything confused
but to learn new once was fun still.
Out of core subjects, English. It's so fun getting to break down the language and learn how everything all comes together, it's really an amazing experience.
Out of all subjects, it's probably band with art as a close second. In band class, I sort of found a new part of myself when I joined; it helped me be more confident, I learned how to perform on stage, plus I freaking love playing music x3 My school has a very small band, too, so I actually feel comfortable around them. ^^
Art was always the most relaxing and enjoyable, but I found literature the most interesting. Damn do I love going deep as hell into texts and stories haha! Novels and poetry mmmmm <3 Very dependent on whether the teacher was nice though for this one...
economics, until the schedule got changed and the economics class fell right after lunch and I started falling asleep during classes and mistook it for disinterest in the subject and dropped out of economics
I guess it would be math, concrete, logic, solving problems was like solving puzzles for me.
I liked art, but the teacher was very slow, so I just practiced by myself
At technology class, I just spent my time playing quake and not-studiyng :P
But yeah, math, by far.
Math until it turned into algebra and was taught by people who didn't know a damn thing about teaching it to kids. I had to learn most of it in a college refresher course haha - so right now my favorite class is economic statistics.
Alternately, my least favorite class has always been art - copying paintings and tracing over shit wasn't my thing.
I see, that's cool haha
I am not sure at all. Art, I suppose... I enjoy it and have the chance to eavesdrop on everyone haha
But Literature is beautiful too. I enjoy analysis.
But my history lesson was taught to me in the perfect teaching method for me to learn, and I feel great
when I'm learning. So, I do not know.
I do not have a mind that is able to function in Chemistry or Maths.
it was the only place i felt normal
What is involved int his class?
