*edit* I want to make clear to people this video is more of an emotional documentary of things that have happened up till nov 4th dealing with gay marriage in ca. It is NOT a video to Push for a repeal of 8 or to suggest future action/ dictate personal opinions, or bash any groups. It will simply be a video of things that have happened. I urge people to please not discuss any personal matters they have with this subject in this journal. that is not the intent of this post, If you have footage or content, please send me a PM only about it. If you have no interest in the project. please ignore this post.
Hello FA I would like to ask those of your interested for your help. I'm currently working on a music video about the events leading up to prop 8 . I need all the help I can get to gather video footage and pictures. I've started to gather footage already but with your help, I can make a much higher quality video, much faster. If anyone has or knows where to find medium to highdef (320x240 bare minimum if it's good quality but I would prefer 480i or better.) footage of any protests, yes and no on 8. news reports personal videos of loved ones gay events they don't mind being used, pictures or anything you consider to be relevant to the project. Please contact me or link me asap. the song I will be using is Josh Groban's You Raise me up.
heres a link to the song. I will probably make several edits to the song itself to keep the video from dragging on more than it needs to.

also if anyone can get decent quality audio or video of the newscasts from when prop 22 was enacted and then repealed that would be great to. I will be working audio montages in to the video so it's important to have decent quality audio/ video.
I guess It would be best to give a list of things I'm looking for.
*prop 22 audio/ video before and after enactment. Both sides of the issue.
*prop 22 audio/ video during and after repeal. Both sides of the issue.
*footage of same sex weddings ceremonies etc
***footage of same sex partners romantically holding hands, hugging, or anything else, happy and sad moments. (need quite a bit of help with finding these.)
*prop 8 audio/ video when prop 8 was first being introduced.
*prop 8 audio/ video pre election. Both sides of the issue.
*prop 8 audio/ video post election. Both sides of the issue.
*any personal/ home video of protest rallies, or touching moments of same sex couples/ freinds that you dont mind being used in a video. (this is another big one as I would like the video to have a very personal touch)
*any interviews with same sex people/ couples/ families about prop 8
*any interviews with straight people/ couples/ families that opposed or supported 8
Thanks for your help. Video editing is A skill I have never showcased here, but is something I have not only done for many years, but have taught classes in, and volunteered my time at stations with. I look forward to hearing back from people and getting this project truly rolling. Thanks once again
