I got a lot of really strong rain and wind when that storm came through..it felt like I was experiencing a hurricane like being back on the Gulf Coast O.o I didn't realize how bad the storm was until my phone blew up in txts and tweets from others asking if things were ok. I feel bad for the ones who were affected, especially in Washington. But I'm glad to hear that you're ok.

Our weather around can be pretty unpredictable, and it always helps to have an emergency plan set in place. Even keep a weather radio around that can go off in the event of severe weather. Just a reminder to always be on the lookout with the type of weather we have around here! Hope that you and your family can bounce back soon from the mess that nature left us.

Glad to hear your alright, as bad as this storm was I'm surprised it hasn't claimed more lives.

I'm from Illinois myself. Just a bit south of peoria. We just got a lot of rain and wind but nothing serious. Not everybody was as lucky as I was. And for those who were not so lucky I wish them well.

I'm on the road right now, but I saw that on Facebook. Glad to see you're okay, that was a nasty one.

That storm hit my area as well! Winds were so strong, it reminded me of Georgia storms! With the rain/sleet/hail comming down, i didnt think i was gonna make it home from work in one piece! wheni left for my first job today, it was a maze with the trees on the raod!

Dude, tornadoes hit around here a day or two ago as well. I'm glad we both came out of it alright.

I was scared at my house we had hail and strong winds and rain and the sky turned a greenish color for like 3 minutes and then it was don't. I'm glad you r ok.
