This is a late journal regarding the Anthro Con convention and other activities that have been going on with me:

It was a nice Anthro Con 2013 for me. Meet some new fur and old fur friends. Pity allot of the regulars whom I normal see there were not there. Seems like allot of fur didn't attend this year. May be it had to do something with the theme or just life took them into other directions. It was nice rooming with and Mate
But I need to get a room next year where I can sleep on a bed. I slept on a blow up mattress for the past 2 Anthro Cons and spending 3 or more nights on a blow up mattress takes some much out of my night sleep. Therefor next year I need to plan accordingly and get a room with a bed.

Right after Anthro Con, two major things I need to do. First was to move into my own place near work. Traveling hour to and from work everyday was taking its toll on my body and car. Second there was a BIG Voltron Tee shirt contest I got involved.

I was runner up with most of my designs, sadly I didnt win. The contest holder saw his vision with a different design. This seems to be a case of Déjà vu for me. Back in 2012 I was a runner up for a My Little Pony Tee shirt contest on We Love Fine. With contest didnt win. But I am not going to give up on doing these contest!

With these contest happening and major things happening with my move I have falling behind on my commissions and art work. For those who I owe commissions I offered their money back. Which I have mail one check out already. Still wish to complete these work, but if my customers want their money back I will oblige them.

I wanted to go to Midwest Furry Fest, sadly I am going to have to forgo going to the event. Due to things at work are into the holiday rush. I work with a company that makes neon clocks and a large orders and renditions need to be completed by me. Additionally, my graphic design coworker has been ill repeatedly and her work falls upon my shoulders. This seems to be another case of Déjà vu when I wanted to go last year and the fellow Furrs from Ohio I was going with dropped off the map. I dont want to go to an city where I dont know the lay of the land and dont have a crew of furs I am spending time with.

Thats the one thing I dislike about the fur cons. When you find yourself at this big event by yourself. Its happened to me at Anthro Con a few times. But this past Anthro Con when it happened I promise myself not to let that happen again. With Midwest Furry Fest coming up soon and I don't have a crew to go with again, it is for the best I dont go.

I seen in alot of journals that furs I have watched are admire their work are going. Wish them a wonderful time at the event. It is for the best I start planing for the next one. Hopefully I can go to Furry Weekend Atlanta or Furry Connection North. If I want to go I need to start some big planing.

Regarding the Midwest Furry Fest, the price of all that need to spend to got to the event and I really havent planed my art work well for the art show or doing commissions is going to set me up for failure. Its sort of like spending the money for a Playstation 4 and not having the money for rent next month.

Big thing for 2014 is I got invited by some friends to go to the big San Diego Comic Con. I seen so much about that event how it seems to be a BIG hub for all things related to media. Spend my money and time Preparing for that event. Majorly I want to work on my Animations more and see which companies I can leave a demo Reel. Plus I am working on a Cosplay Rocketeer too.
