I know how that is, having a drive that seems to come and go. I'm doing my best to ensure that I'll get back into my passions and sharing them with others soon, but it's still very hard at best, and very discouraging most of the time.

Anyway, picking up where we left off last time... question time!

You said you'd like to make either a rhino or elephant android character! What sorts of personality traits might you give such a new entity? How would you separate them from typical organic beings, perhaps while retaining enough to make them still sympathetic?

(maybe my own ideas have a bit too much bias for what I'm asking of you, though. XD )

well an Elephant would be calm and wise--since Elephants have cool memories, they can remember watering holes and stuff

Rhino would be a tough guy, but with a warm heart :D

Just remember that they (probably) don't know that creeper the way you do yet, so they might eventually come around again. I'm sure that doesn't help you feel any better in the mean time though. Hopefully you find something positive to focus on until they see the light.

As for questions, my favorite is to ask people what their dream vacation would be. :)

Hmmmm...What would you do if bad-dragon tried to take over the world with silicone goo dragons and fantasy creatures brought to life with all their research? Would you embrace these creatures as a new for of life and try to help them symbiotically assimilate into modern society, would you attempt to help them take in a more natural and stable organic form made of many elements, or would you try to destroy them?

I'd recreate them into organic life--perhaps into rare species to help balance the natural numbers.

Oh and I'd pay that bad dragon a visit and tie him up and force him to watch and listen to bad music

:3 Me too. :P And lol. X3 I'm sure that bad-music would create bunches of crazed sound-sensative goo monsters. You would hae to take down the bad-dragon mascot first. He is the leader.

Best of both worlds. :P No noise-sensative goo monsters, and no more leader, so the new life on our planet, now aided and brought to biological fruition. :P You have saved the day. :3



It would be interesting to have a story like this where some space travelers discovered a new planet to find creatures who are in a fragile and unstable form for some evolutionary reason. Maybe it is because of the type of habitable world they live on, but if they were malleable, maybe it would be because of frequent impacts from space debris or large and frequent fluctuations in gravity because of some large moons orbiting the planet they are from. This fragile ecosystem could be threatened by something that is going to destory one of the things that keeps the creatures living as they do, and to save them, their matter must be transmuted. Maybe done through genetics? We are carbon based life, and maybe...they are some other element? What has to be done is to revamp their genetic code from the ground up by changing all of their molecules. :P

That would make a fantastic story :D

Ah. Well, something interesting that might help, a recent Canadian study on the link between amount of sleep and depression revealed that getting a better night's sleep can relieve depression and depression-like symptoms. Only a full night's rest though, not naps.

A friend of mine posted a journal addressing his thoughts on various subjects, though primarily science-related. I'm not saying I necessarily agree or disagree with his thoughts on the matter, but I feel like some of the things he brought up might be worth discussing at some point, not necessarily by you or by myself, but just with people in general. Just something to further dig into the topic and examine it more closely.

Yikes...Well I hope that the damage to your computer's screen hinges can be fixed, or that they can be replaced at a cost that doesn't cause too much strain on your finances...

plus money isn't a trouble. The hinges just seemed to have been intended to break , probably by the people who made it to try and get you to buy a new one.

...Is it even legal for companies to design something specifically to break just to get you to buy a new one?

This may be a prudish question, but what's you opinion on bad language(swearing)? I know that some use for expression and that they're "just words"(that's a lie by the way, there's no such thing as "just words") but I just find it annoying sometimes and completely unnecessary to express yourself.

An unrelated question, what do you think about the multiverse?

well they are in a way just words if said when to express yourself when you make a mistake or hurt yourself

Its when they're used against other people is when its harmful and wrong, e.g. I had someone start screaming swear words and the insults when I said all Final Fantasy characters all look the same.

I just think that it is too easy nowadays to swear, that people are just getting lazy and potty-mouthed and can't be bothered to express in another way. But dude, words of any kind or any turn or any phrase have power. If they didn't, that individual wouldn't have gotten angry at you over the whole Final Fantasy thing.
It's just... I know to be respectful, but.....am I the only one who finds cursing annoying and just tone it down a bit? It's jus everyone on the whole planet thinks they can be more honest or funny or whatever when cussin' and I just don't believe that. FYI: I don't cuss when I make a mistake or hurt myself, so that shows some hope, right?

It, all of it(cussin,violence,disaster,etc.) can just be crazy to much sometimes, you know?

And the multiverse is a theory of multiple, possibly infinite, universes that live along with us, some stemming from mathematics, and others from each choice we make everyday, and THEN there's the ones that stem from our imagination(I use the term "our" loosely because I would like to think imagination is something bigger than us and it just uses us as conduits, but shares control and care, to create new worlds) that I find to be my favourite, and possibly yours too, I hope.
