Current Life, Life Story, and Future Plans

I just wanted to give a little insight on my life and the things that have been going on lately. First off I would just like to say that you the reader are aloud to draw my fursona, just please don't steal him or my design, and if you do draw him feel free to share it with other people and give me a heads up before or after. Ok now that is out of the way I would just like to thank all of the watches, favorites, page views, and comments that you, the reader, give me. The reason that I have not posted much is because of mainly four things. The first is of course school and all of the work I have to keep up, I am in my junior year of high-school and from what I have heard and also witness first hand, this is the hardest and also the most important year of high-school. The second is the lack of art supplies, not much explaining here except that I am still waiting for my aunt to take me to get some for a very late birthday present. The third reason is the lack of a work space, and I mean a lack of one, I will take a picture of the area that I do all of my traditional art drawing at, hopefully I will be able to find a solution to fix the issue. The forth and final reason is laziness, this one is on me and my fault, when ever I have the time to draw I just choose to not do anything with my free time.

Now that all of that is out of the way I would like to give some back story on my life before I was a furry, how I became one, and what it has brought to the table in my life.

LIFE BEFORE (contains religious views) - I was born on Oct 12, 1995........ just kidding we are not going back that far LOL. My life had always been a bit of a train wreck, my parents would always fight, me and my sister would always go to our bedroom, which we shared at the time, and I would cheer her up and also help her block out all of the commotion that was going on by drawing her pictures. Then one day, one of the fights escalated to the next level, and my dad just snapped and started to break things, at that point my mother told him to leave, he did and he went to his mothers house, we went to my mema's house (my grandma on my mothers side). We stayed there for about two weeks and at that same time my dad had made a pact with himself that he would change his life by any means necessary to bring our family back together. My grandpa on my dad side had always been a religious man, and by religious I mean that he is a Christian who goes to church and has been saved. My dad decided to start going to church and about a week into going he had decide that he needed to be saved and from that point he completely did a 180 and stop drinking, smoking, and partying. He talked to my mother for the first time in two weeks, my mother was surprised by what he did and he asked her if she would give him a second chance, she said yes. Soon after my mom was saved and so was my sister, that just left me the only non-saved person in our family. My mom and dad made a decision to not put me in public middle school, but to put me in a private school, I resisted at first, but knowing my parents that was not going to change their mind. I went to private school for the first time in the 6th grade, and about four months into the school year I came to the conclusion that I needed to be save, but I was to nervous to ask anyone at school or at church, so I did the next best thing and asked my dad. Me and my dad sat down by my bedside and on Nov. 9, 2008 I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my savior. From that point my mom, dad, sister, and I have lived a happy life together.

HOW I FOUND AND BECAME A FURRY - During the summer of 2011, I was doing what most nerdy teens do, and that is browsing the internet instead of hanging out with friends. I was on the AoTS (Attack of The Show) website for some reason and I saw this video that said "Attack of The Show - Furry Weekend Atlanta" and I had heard of furries before and I was one of those typical people that said that furries are just the people that dress up in suits and have sex, but out of curiosity I clicked on the video. My view was quickly changed and the one person I would give the most credit to is WolfPupTK because he pretty much summed it up in the video. After that I was hooked and I did not know any furries personally, so I did the next best thing and that was talk to them on the internet, but then I ran into the problem of where should I talk to them. That's when I stumbled onto the website Furnation, and then I ran into another issue and that was, what was my fursona. At this point I had only seen a few furries, so I decided to be a wolf and I came up with the most generic name ever, Wolf Fang. I stuck with that for nearly half a year, then I decided to change my fursona, but I did not know what to change him into, then I got an idea from the movie "The Lion King". My favorite characters in the movie are the three hyenas: Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, so I changed my fursona from a wolf to a hyena, but I still needed a name. It was winter at that time and for some reason was really cold in my house and my jaw was shivering at the time, that's when the light bulb flash above my head and I came up with the name Shiver Jaw.

WHAT LIFE HAS BEEN LIKE AS A FURRY - Much of my life has not change although I tend to be more nice and kind to people. Now the one fear I had about being a furry was what my parents would say, so I never told them until about a week ago. A week ago our power went out, my dad was asleep and it was just my mom, sister, and me in the living room. My mom then told my sister to go to bed, so me and my mom stayed up a little longer. I have been wanting to tell my parents that I was a furry for nearly two years and here was my opportunity. Final after sitting in the living room for what seemed like an eternity, my mom ask me the question "what was I looking at on my phone" I showed her the furry art that I was looking at (which was my ref sheet). I then proceeded to ask her the question "do you know what a furry is", we then had a very nice conversation about furry stuff, and then she said something that surprised me, she said that she would "love" to go to a furry convention with me. After picking my shivering jaw off the floor I said goodnight and went to bed thinking how was I going to tell my dad, luckily my mom told him instead and he reacted very well.

There, that's my life story what more is there to say.

Now for my future plans.
