I'm guessing some people rage-quit FA because of the site being so incredible slow most of the time.

could, but back then it was not that bad, well from what I remember, one key I know from one was DRAMA.

Different timezones usually affect activity on the site. Such as now, its fairly early in the western side so most Canadians or American's for instance are hardly ever up.

As for the 2nd, well... It's part of life to say goodbye. As we travel we'll meet a lot of diffrent people and there comes a time when we have to go our seperate ways. But wherever we go, there will always be new friends waitting ^^

The activity in fA lowered a bit due to the MFF, and also the website is going super slow and sluggish at times. Altough that is not a surprise.
The activity will get up again soon. Expect the flood of christmas submissions. xD

I hope you're doing good in spite of these problems you mention. I hope you're able to find your friend. I had a friend in deviantart, but she one day stopped posting for no reason... and one day at random her account was disabled. I never found her again, and when I spoke with the ones that supposedly were her close friends, nobody knew anything and they all were as puzzled as me.

guess seeing me work hard set him back a lil. and was not ready to be that devoted to working to be a better artist.

This other friend was a different situation. I think it was related to their parents not believing in her art. But I cant assure it.
I have my eyes open. I hope I can find her someday.

you should make a programed reunion like a streaming or something like that, so you can reunite people to talk someday in a schedule who all can :)

I would say that since school semester is coming to a close, the teachers are assigning 10 pg. essays just because they can Dx

Missing friends is a hard curse of life, and the only thing against this are new friends. Even if they can't replace the old ones, they can still give you a better feeling.

Artist and people leave FA because of it slowness and fail to stay up. Most of them move to So furry, Inkbunny ect. Honestly i would move off FA but i like the way the site is.

I've had a few friends leave too actually. I remember one left because of the kinds of people were approaching him and another just because he didn't like the community. I suppose it gets down to how your experience is, I have not gotten too many problems so I think FA is ok. Sure, FA is slow at times but that's understandable when you understand that there's SO many people on this one website. So I guess it's just personal opinion ^^

MFF looks to to be the biggest reason people are disappearing right now, though there's also the fact the holidays are coming (Thanksgiving in the US, for one) and people are trying to get ready for that.

Also my birthday's tomorrow, which has me a bit nervous ._.;

I feel like there's not enough going on here! We should have some events or something! I don't care so much about drawing as I do meeting and talking to people ; a ;

I think it's because there are so many events and stuff people attend to.

From what I have seen it is the drama, downtime and a mix of life issues. Some simply switch accounts as it is like a new start. Some stay akwardly silent as they feel out of place or unwanted.

Its a lit to take in a certainly more then I mentioned.

Hiya, RU! *I pat your head nicely.* Thanks again for the watch on the other account. ^^ I might guess that life is more demanding now than in the 2000's or late 1990's, but it will come to term that everyone will have to have some organization of time to be on FA and enjoy your arts. I myself did not have time because of a recent test, and I had to purge a lot of messages- had nearly 450, and wanted to be at less than 100 at the end of the day. Eventually I'll see the arts you have when I was absent on FA-to me, they can't be missed.

losting friend, i'm sorry, I know that can be hard and sometime we got friends and losting others.

What you can do is do your responsability, take your time, relax, do some activity, meet new peoples.
Your time is you choice, commission is your command, if is responsability, just organizing, exemple, one day of week, you take a time to talk and relax.
I can't help alot because I dunno your life, but you know what I meant.

I just wish I had more time to sit, draw and chat.

Ever since I got this job I've had little time to enjoy my hobbies. But I've loved every second of my job so far and wouldn't trade it in for anything ;3
