So what will this story be about?

Well, first off, you should just go read that for yourself. However, we have thought of it as this:

It's a sci-fi novel, where the rising of a new technology rocketed the entertainment industry. Artipets, artificially created anthropomorphs, are the main focus of this series that takes place in New York, centred on the modern Cyrus Gates Tower, where the main characters live.

The story focusses on 5 arti-pets. Each of them has a different experience of the ethics on owning artipets. Their interactions will form the drive for the whole story, set in a neo art-deco futuristic world where urbanity is sprawling and the politics are consumerist.
