Random Thought for Today

If a kitsune was to come into contact with illegal drugs, would they have an allergic reaction?
I have my own idea, but I wanna hear what others come up with. Give me a yes, no, or maybe and then post your reasoning. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

FA+

Lets say aspirin was illegal. Then a kitsune would automatically be allergic to aspirin?
Also, best time to start a journal on FA: When everybody's off at a big fur con. =P Whoops!
What if this is true? A kitsune gets a prescription to marijuana for medial purposes in California where it is legal and then moves to a location where it isn't. Or perhaps she inhales while overseas in Denmark? Is the kitsune going to have the allergic reaction?
(also strange, spell check things I mean 'iTunes' not 'kitsune')
I just get this idea of a character of mine being blown out of a building with "evidence" in a drug bust, and stands up like it was nothing... but the drugs get under his fur and he starts screaming and getting chemical burns. Thankfully, a little mountain spring water clears it right up, though he'll be in pain for a while.
Random, I know.
If its the intent of the maker that's a bit iffy as well. Opium and marijuana are both completely natural with little to no preparation so there isn't really a 'maker' but maybe the maker of a drug thinks their really doing a good and beneficial thing, lots of positive hippy vibes and the like. Then the drug wouldn't cause the reaction?
Either way I think if its a mechanic you'd like to play with I'd be very clear on how you introduce it as its something that defies scientific reality you'll really need to convey the mechanics of how and why it works.
I'm all for unique plot ideas and the like so I'd love to see it work.
