Talk about fetishes

General
As many of you may already know, I have a muscle-muscle growth-sprinkle with some furry fetishes.
It's kind of embarrassing sharing this (0///_///0)
My first ever aroused is when I'm watching old cartoon. I think it was Disney Chipmunk cartoon episode that feature this sexy chipmunk girl singer. Or Tom&Jerry in one episode that feature sexy cat girl on a beach. I think I was 5-6 at the time LOL
Around that time, Dragonball is a very popular show. so like all the kids, I have to watch it. I find the transformation sequences very arousing. Then I start to fantasize those chipmunk and cat girl boobs become bigger LOL I think this was more of a breast inflation fetish rather than muscle growth fetish.
Then begin DragonballZ Freiza saga. I think that was a major turning point for me. It feature one of the most memorable muscle growth sequence of Frieza that I use as a material to fantasize all female character. Then come Cel saga which feature even more muscle growth sequences. Suffice to say, it was a very good year LOL
Of course, good thing wont last. I came across one episode of Batman animated series from WarnerBros. that feature Bane. The final sequence where his muscle growth become uncontrollable is so horrifying that I felt sick watching that scene. I felt so disgust that I vow not to fantasize about muscle growth ever again.
Then why would I return to muscle growth fetish again? I'm not sure why. Maybe because I'm growing up and man up a little lol and there's some good female muscle growth sequence popping up here and there.
people have been asking why i like to draw character with angry-assertion expression when growing muscle. As you might have guessed, most of my muscle growth inspired by DragonballZ transformation sequences. I find twitching animation when muscle expand in DragonballZ very fascinating. It's like they put so much energy and effort to make all those muscles growth. It's like you lifting so much weight that your body tremble.
This is why I really don't like ballooning muscle growth. It look so effortless it's lacking emotion.
Another thing I dont like is too much veins and god forbid purple veins. It reminds me of Bane muscle growth again, yuck!
One more thing. I don't like it when people keep pushing for bigger muscle. This is a very complicate issue. If there's one artistic integrity that I want to maintain, is the muscle proportion to character. I'll make it clear now that I hate those mountain of muscles mass that some artist draw and I despite those who create and those who like it. You might call me hypocrite or hippopotamus or whatever but as an artist you should know the line between attractiveness and sick fuck.
PS. I did cross a line one or two and I regret my decision.
Do you thing I'm hypocrite? or ignorance artist full of ego?
You can share your history of fetishes here if you want :)
EDIT: For those who want an explanation of why I despite massive-grotesque muscle mass so much, it's because it remind me of horrific Bane out of control muscle growth I mention earlier. The experience traumatize me so much as a child. It became one of my most fear for human body explode. If it's instantaneous(like from an explosive) that would be fine. But if it slow and agonizing, that's make me nauseate.

FA+

Dragon Ball Z I think provided a similar fuel for my own fetishes and desires, and am more interested in well depicted (impossible yet probable or well executed) anatomy. I actually felt embarrassed watching it as a child.
I feel the same way too when noticing the growth in DBZ, the definition, the twitches, really conveys there's some kinda strength and power behind those muscles. :D

I'm lazy, you want my fetishes? browse my favorites.
Don't mind the people calling you unprofessional - being professional doesn't mean you should say yes to everything people ask of you, it means producing quality art fast and efficiently, which I think you do admirably.
As for muscles, I'm okay with it as long as it's on women and not too much.
As for what got me into muscle, it was stuff like He-Man and Thundercats, plus a particular episode of Ghostbusters where Peter Venkmann grew to enormous muscle proportions from being possessed by a ghost that gave him superhero powers.. many years ago.. Oh gosh... I can't believe I admitted that. Lol
I have asked myself, trying to figure fetishes out, why are people so into them. Most of the time people cannot explain a fetish, they simply say, I'm attracted to it, or I just like it, or such.
So I asked myself. What if a fetish is a deep deep subconscious command or suggestion from our very genetic code? The genetic code involving evolution. In order to evolve, a species must take in what it is looking for and after several lifespans it starts developing the desired effect and goes to move to something else to further its evolution. Perhaps thats why people have different fetishes. Your muscle growth fetish, perhaps is your evolutionary message saying, BIGGER I want to get BIGGER, STRONGER, STURDIER.
Or perhaps in the reverse of that, since you mentioned females with muscles. You have a thing for Amazonian type Women, which could have been something in your DNA History.
Most people have a Fetish and they are quite varied. So I believe it is possible. But as I said I have no way of verifying this Theory.
I think everything we enjoy or fear before we are 8 years old has profound effects on our tastes, kinks, and fetishes. I can't pinpoint what exactly inspired my attraction to very muscular women, when I thought "I like muscular women." However, when I was 5, my best friend's aunt was this tall strong woman we'd sometimes ask her to flex for us. She had a son as well, which made her a MILF. After I was 8, I lost touch with my friend so never saw her again. I never thought about her until a few years ago, in my 20s, that she could have been a female bodybuilder and perhaps really did plant the seeds for the kink in me. Of course, at 5 years old, I had already seen the famous blueberry scene in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. What's REALLY fascinating is at this time, we saw it in our kindergarten class, got to the blueberry scene, begged for a replay, and the teacher actually rewinded a bit for us to see it again. I'd be shocked if any of the other 4 or 5 kids with me in that room didn't grow up to have an inflation kink.
Granted, my own character's skeletal structure does alter as he experiences muscle growth, but, he mainly grows larger proportionally, and maybe just barely broader as well. So his proportions don't change very significantly from is norm. Other characters on the other hand, often remain about the same in terms of height, but grow significantly larger rib cages, and so on and so forth. This sort of disproportionate growth, tends to look like it'd be nothing but painful to experience, so I don't even like seeing it.
As for why I like this sort of thing. Well, I think it's psychological to be honest, and I'm not talking about my own personal psychology either. As the old adage goes, power is an aphrodisiac. A lot of media world wide engage in power fantasies, our action movies are power fantasies, and many common fetishes are just variations of a typical power fantasy. So for me, I like occasionally putting my character through muscle growth, because imagining that much physical power at my command is, kinda enthralling. Putting myself into that role, even for a moment, makes me feel less like a calm, collected, rational being, and more like an instinct driven bundle of impulses and hormones. That's obviously something I cannot experience in real life, as my own moral code demands that I be in total control of myself at all times. Regardless, having such tenuous control over your own inner beast made manifest, is a fantasy I just cannot escape from.
As for why people might like female muscle growth. Well, that's a little less me thing. I do like attractive muscular women though, as you could probably tell by looking through my gallery. The reason for this I think, is actually pretty simple. While some people are attracted to dependent individuals, others are attracted to competence. Competence can take many forms, from being financially successful, independent, intelligent, to being physically competent.
And that's the rub right there. Physical fitness is an obvious and easily understood indicator of physical competence, and is therefore attractive in a partner.
Anyhow, kinda rambled on a bit there, sorry about that. XD
Yeah I really don't habe many fetishes at all, but muscle growth is one of it. And it started exactly with DBZ and stuff. I have to admit DBZ came our very late in germany in comparison to the rest of the world XD
I never could explain why I liked it so much, but it made me really aroused. And I was like 12/13 when the show was on TV...so yeah, I mean REALLY aroused. It was kind of strange for me at this point.
When I came into the fandom 7-8 years ago I rediscovered the whole thing and noticed that this fetish fitted so nicely to all those furry and scaly characters. I mean Frieza was a lizardy kind of alien as well and I guess I adopted a lot of this into the fandom. But I love it and now I think I can explain it similar to the way you did it. For me muscle growth shows a extrem way of gaining a lot of power and physical strenght and a good inflation has to show that. It has to look like a intense flexing what results into angry faces and other stuff. I mean you always can show, that the character like it through other means (like drooling or whatever).
And yes the gain in muscles has to be functional in a way. I doesn't make any sense for me, when a character gets so huge, that he shouldn't be possible to move anymore. That would be the exact opposite of what I like so much. No, they can be huge of course, but still strong and somehow functional. I feel sorry for you, that you also got horrified by one scene. I never had something like this luckily. But you know in DBZ they also always got those veins when getting bigger and its on of the most thing I like about growth as well. As an indicator that the skin gets tighter and the muscles bigger and stuff and at least for me some veins just needs to be in a nice muscle-growth sequence :'D
Ans also I still like to experiment with my fetish a lot nowadays. I wanted to give my own character a reasonable ability to expand without letting it get too strange. Imaging him as a soulhunter or soulmage I came up with the concept of him using a magic to absorb power of souls and using it to get all buffed for a short duration. So yes it looks a little bit like those typical DBZ growth sequences...hope this doesn't sound crappy or anything x_x
I really have to say, I love it to read all the reports from others who like growing and stuff =D makes me feel better about it for some reasons.
I don't like ballooney muscles either, i'm trying my best to make muscles more realistic, and i definitly prefer definition to balloon muscles (and there's no glory drawing balloons).
I was watching television with my family and there was some kind of report about a female bodybuilder. While my parents and my sister thought she ruined her body, I had other feelings, though I could not specify them.
When I hit puberty my best friend at that time intrduced me to regular porn but I could not find any pleasure or excitement in it. In fact, I thought it was kind of gross. While browsing the internet i stumbled upon pictures of muscular women wich exited me more than anything my friend had shown me.
My fetish is limited on girls/women. Male muscle growth doesn't interest me at all.
I also loved DBZ but not because the muscle growth. If I had to name cartoons I'd say the episode "Enter She-Hulk" from the Incredible Hulk cartoon or later Jackie Chan Adventures, when Jade used the talisman to get super strength (and super muscles).
I have often wondered how I developed such a fetish but could not come to any conclusions. It is neither the strenght nor the increase in power or the ability to overwhelm someone that attracts me. I just love the look of muscles on women.
I prefer natural looking sizes too. It can get a little bigger, but not to the point where artists are starting to stretch the limbs because there wouldn't be enough space oterwhise.
I love your style Pokkuti. You are a great artist and you have all rights to refuse to draw what you don't like.
All thats left to say is thanks for the possibility to express myself like this (even if I'm just a little watcher).
Keep on rockin'
I agree, I only like well-defined, realistic, 'hard' muscles. I think they make the whole idea of muscles/muscle growth much more appealing and believable.
Strangely, my allure to the female muscular form did not start with cartoons or movies, but with the power of literature. Can't remember the title for the life of me; one of a rich man's bodyguard was a woman, who after getting rescued off the streets and kicking drug addiction, improved her physique to the level that you Pokkuti happen to perfectly match in your pictures with how the author page length described her form.
Female muscle in particular, I guess it's because when society portrays the female gender as being generally dependent in physical confrontations - but then in the artistic world, you give them the physical prowess to trounce ten bandits at a time - that can project a peak feeling of satisfaction. Doesn't even have to be gender specific art. Fictional races or creatures generally considered to be physically inept reinterpreted as physical powerhouses, instills the satisfaction of imagining what they could potentially do. Physically, sexually or otherwise.
I consider you Pokkuti and a small handful of artists (even amongst the muscle-criteria) to pull off the lady muscular anatomy perfect, and most importantly balanced in my stance. You draw the abdominal muscles and biceps to body-builder class while maintaining the femininity in their faces. And reasonably proportionate cup size of their breasts.
Lastly, I find when muscular female forms are combined with the anthropomorphic fandom, it makes the experience all the more better. Most time I portray such characters as part of a warrior race in my fantasies. And subtly witnessing a variety of unorthodox species and character designs in the furry fandom is a welcome change of pace of repeated human depictions of the same fetishes.
So take this as blind praise or a genuinely thought out compliment. You are a good artist with reasonable level of standards in this niche you draw, both in your human and anthropomorphic pics.
If I ever get the chance to commission you, I'll keep that in mind.
also, this one gotta be my favorite of yours:

(i liked all of it, all 6 pages of it)
i also liked your celestial cheetah series, you draw excellent muscles, and expressions man!
great work.
ximilith is always impressive, but you did a great depiction of her.
you could try drawing red sabers, wolf-girl too. she's pretty big.
anyway, that was a nice post, pokkuti, and i had the same experiences here.
also i like BE as well.
