Ever wanted a game where you can fly around as a dragon + rider, fighting other dragons?

Yeah, ok, there have been a few single-player games like that. But this one is an MMO! I'm not usually much of a fan of PvP, but add the 3D element and I get really interested really quick. I loved the Descent series for that reason, and the prospect of a DRAGON game like that makes me giddy!

They need your help to meet their goal! It may not happen, not much time is left, but it looks like backers are getting ALPHA keys to check out the game! People have already commented about their experience playing the alpha, so even if it's up all the time, perhaps we'll get early glimpses into the game.

Wow... I like it...!
What kind of similar (dragon rider or dragon-player) single player games do you know? I only know I of the Dragon, Divinity II and Drakan.

Those are three. :) I know I played at least one other ... trying to remember the name .. my 'vault' of old games I had on a RAID blew up recently, and I lost 'em all. :(

Wouldn't Panzer Dragoon count as such? The only other MMO that lets you play as a dragon (and is still in existence of sorts) is that of Istaria 'formerly known as Horizons'

You might want to check out Dragon Commander as well, although you are only dragon (with a jet pack!) in combat for brief spurts in that.

I was going to say I didn't think you were a fan of PVP here Rooth, and this isn't a MMO persay it looks more akin to meshing of League of Legends with that of World of Warplanes/Warthunder in that you get a hero/dragon and then fight in arena style match and can then use experience to level up both or either.

O.o League of Legends is MMO, isn't it?

Or are you thinking more like Quake or Team Fortress or something where there teams are limited size?

I guess I see it as MMO because you play with pretty much anyone in the world, versus a specific local group or something. Hmm.

Anyhow, DRAGONS! ^_^

actually the correct term is a MOBA, Massively Online Battle Arena and yes that is essentially what it is as the teams are limited in size depending on the game (LoL, DotA, etc use up to 5 per team, World of Tanks/Warplanes and War Thunder use up to 15) but there is really no other MMO aspects like crafting, housing, exploration, questing or roleplaying just a lot of combat, win/loss and kill tallies.

that is what I was pointing out, this game doesn't have any of that it is just your hero on the back of a dragon in the midst of a volcano cave (and any other environments they might add) shooting at other heroes on dragons hence why it should be called a MOBA.
