Today is the 22nd anniversary of the death of Freddie Mercury who died on November 24th 1991 from AIDS. He was an amazing singer, frontman, song writer and many things that made Freddie who he was. This was Freddie's last statement he made 24 hours before he died
"Following the enormous conjecture in the press over the last two weeks, I wish to confirm that I have tested HIV positive and have AIDS. I felt it correct to keep this information private in order to protect the privacy of those around me. However, the time has come for my friends and fans around the world to know the truth and I hope that everyone will join with me in the fight against this terrible disease." (Statement released on 23 November 1991)
Lets keep fighting against the spread of HIV/AIDS and raise awareness of the disease that claimed so many!

OP
Yes but a cure to cure one for HIV/AIDS completely. Vaccines to hopefully fight it off but to cure one of it completely sadly no. We came this far over 25 years of finding treatments, and lets hope we can find a cure completely in less that time :)
