I keep track of what I spend on. I write it all down in a spreadsheet online and see how much I am spending and where. If it's a big purchase I say what it is so I know what's up. I have categories like "furry", "store", "Eat Out", "School", "Car/Cell/Gas", "Other". I have a credit union account since banks have too many fees. There was a fee if I had less than $100 in my account, my credit union only needs $5 for it to be active. It my account came with a debit card, which my bank did not give out. Try to make a budget per week. Let's say like $100 per week, includes food, gas, and other NEEDED things. Keep splurges down to a minimum. I don't buy commissions often since it's something I don't really need. My con time is when I was interested in splurging. Right now I wanna get back into the saving mode. Just remember that you wanna buy something else later, but it's way more money than you have now so you need to keep that money. Like I need to save up for a new car. My car is not broken, but if I think that it is broken and that I need to save money for it, then I will want to do so, you know? Throwing things in an account that you don't touch or look at always helps as well.
