Jfc I hate my work right now
There was some stupid drama going around that's left me 100% done with it. Now whenever I work with the stupid poopie head employee that caused all the trouble it's like an instant bad work day. I get irritated by everything she says and just ughhhhhhhhh
Anyway I've asked the owner to schedule me less hours because I want to pull back a little and focus more on art. I want to make a tentative step toward doing that more so for a living than my current job.
Only to look at the schedule next week and seeing I'm getting MORE hours than usual and working 3 ten hour shifts (versus one or two) and just ugggghhhh give em to someone else I know they're hot commodities and I'm a good worker but noooo
Which blah blah I should be thankful I have a job whatever. It's just frustrating when I'm an inch away from wanting to quit as it is and getting shoveled over with even more instead of getting some space.

And then all her stupid little comments like no one cares you are so mean to everyone and the only reason you're still here is because the owner is too much of a pansy to actually DEAL with problems within the store.
Like, when I talked to him about what was going on. He told me to either ignore her, or to confront her myself.
What the heeccckk??? That's not what you do! What you do is TALK to the employee, or be there while we talk it out, or something!! You don't just ignore it and encourage your employees to freakin' duke it out??? Idk ugh. There's just always a bunch of drama at my job cuz the owner practically only hires girls and he just sweeps it under the rug until it goes away.
I don't necessarily want to quite, I get above minimum wage and I'm one of the better workers there so it's not bad for me but I just want a break hnnnnn ;3;

The job itself is good enough and I make above minimum wage which is also nice
Ideally what I'd like is to just get less hours there and see what I can make from art. I'd prefer to switch it and be primarily an artist and just do a few hours there until I move uh the summer after next.
A new job is just so stressful ahh;;
It's like a last resort option for if I literally go crazy from my job now
Making your passion your career is always a good step forward. Its what I do now. It may take a while but its worth it. = )
but I am not entirely confident in myself to be able to make enough from art to survive.... I'd prefer to try a slow transition aaa
Theres so much conflict/drama between employees at work that they're literally divided half & half, its amusing but also quite sad at the same time... I guess it just takes a bigger person to look past it all and be friendly/open to everyone :< Anyway, if you ever want someone to rant to, im a good listener! /hopefullythisisntcreepy OTL;;;;;;;
