YCH pictures appear to be largely auctioned with a low minimum price and a fixed minimum bid ($3 - $5). Most of the YCH bids I've made were largely on things I thought would look funny (like my very unsexy character posing in lingerie). I think as long as you come up with new poses and new themes for each, they could be interesting.

Probably the best way to consider standard commission is to think about what your own time is worth and then figure out how many hours you spend on each. You can similarly negotiate higher rates for more complicated characters.

Considering your art style and quality, you should start at 6 or 7$ for sketches and build up from there. Usually people charge 5$ per icon. and add extra 3-5$ for each extra character.

Some other people say that you must consider how much time do you have to spend on making a drawing, calculate an hourly payment and set your prices from that

Welpers, after looking at your arts would say $5-10 icons $15-20 badge $15-30 for full pictures thought honestly is up to you and what folks our willing to pay sometimes surprised how little or much artist get for there work regardless of quality.

As far as ych auctions I find them intriguing thought at times a little boring.

Your ranges are definitely what I have based my prices around so hopefully you think they're reasonable!

^What Lombax said. It'd be good to start your prices out somewhere in the middle of those ranges, and then adjust them until you're getting the amount of business you want. Streams where you give make a couple of free headshots are an excellent way to attract new watchers and expand your consumer base, so if you're serious about making money with art, I'd suggest doing a few of those.

And YCH auctions tend to just be the purchaser's character in a pre-drawn pose/sketch. It can be a nice way to monetize a given pose or idea you have, or even old sketches... unfortunately, the ones that seem to attract a lot of attention are either pin-ups or just plain 'ol porn. :/

But hey, it can't hurt to try a YCH or two and see what kind of interest you get!

Art is just my hobby, but it would be nice to make a bit of extra money with it! I have streamed before and done some free sketches http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12139049/ I will definitely be doing that again in future~
