My art account
nitetigrezz So I started toying around with Dreamselfy and I'm coming up with some great character ideas. I don't want to break any ToS or rules or anything, so I was wondering if there was a way I could offer up these characters I'm coming up with along with a small blurb on each character. Each blurb will be at least 500 words long, some longer like this one character that's been fascinating me. Some will even come with a few different pictures - different outfits and hair style depending on where they are in that point of their life's story. There might even be the chance to nab siblings, or lovers, or vowed enemies XD
Here's where things go into the grey area. Would it be possible for me to make a bit of money off of them? I would be essentially selling their story, charging less for them since they're pre-made (might make it so the buyer chooses the sort of ending :3), and throw in the illustration of the character for free. I was thinking maybe $3 for closer to 500 words, and $6 or $7 for closer to 1000 words.
So, is this something that seems fair, or will this be stepping on too many toes? Should I maybe give the designs to an artist and work on collabing with them? Would mean I would have to charge more since I'm not going to ask the artist to work for free xp
Thoughts?

The reason why I like using the dreamselfy thing is because I can sift through soooo many hair styles and outfits until something strikes in my mind on who the person could be, but as is there's this one design that's developed a half-baked story in my mind that so far involves multiple different other characters, with three others that aren't in the background.
If you're okay with it (though I'll have to wait til I get home so I'll have the paint.net on my own laptop xp), what I'll probably do is shoot you the designs with the blurbs. There are cases where I'm not quite finding the hairstyle or outfit I want, or I see what I like but it doesn't look very good with the way the dollmaker is. Maybe we can toss some things around back and forth and work together on that before coming up with an original set of adopts :3
The only stickler is, some of these outfits and hairstyles are fairly detailed, and I wouldn't want you working for peanuts, so to speak. The beauty of working with just the dreamselfy is that I was comfy charging quite a low price since I toy with it on my free time and I can just let the ideas come to me instead of trying to force them. How much would you want for your time and effort and hard work? Granted, it will certainly make a Lot more sense to charge more than I had planned since people would be getting actual artwork with the blurb and not a small dreamselfy copy/paste thing that people can make on their own. So what were you thinking?
