Digital or traditional?

I'm beginning to wonder if all this faffing around with Painter is really worth it. A drawing that would take me half an hour in traditional media takes hours.
With that in mind, I spent an hour or two the other night trying to revive my old Yoken markers with the aid of a bottle of isopropyl alcohol. Not a lot of luck, unsurprisingly, given they're over fifteen years old.
I'm considering investing in new ones. There's a new brand called Mepxy which I really, really like, and they're not too expensive - nearly half the price of Copic.
Should I make the investment, and just go back to using traditional media? Decisions, decisions.

Personally love traditional, though I also prefer letting an artist have more freedom, so edits arent usually a problem.

I lean more toward traditional in most cases, though I'm not big on markers.
