Got moved into my new place, actually not a bad lay out for a studio. However, it is a bit of a down grade. The building isn't as nice as my last one, it has shoddy rush repairs and remodeling. The plumbing on the brand new tub is messed up so that my cold water barely runs and the shower mechanism doesn't fully engage for the hot, so i got a trickle while the faucet below cooks my feet. So, it's a shitty place, but it's my shitty place where i depend on no one else to keep a roof over my head. Don't have to worry about anyone moving out and losing my place again. My net was supposed to be on for the first, but it was not, so we'll see what happens. While it is nice to be secure on my own, there is also this strange and unpleasant feeling to know that the person who has beendirectly in my life for the last five years is no longer there.
