more rumor on name suggests that it probably ISNT Furfright2: Electric Boogaloo.

Once it's named, it will be "the convention formerly known as the convention formerly known as furfright"!

I'm grateful that some saw the positive intent behind my work...and still very worried that those who did not will make it harder for me personally to continue contributing to the fandom. I'm waiting to see what happens, but thank you for your support. :)

You've done nothing wrong. I actually thought it was a cool idea on letting other people in the furry community give you guys input on the con name and let them decide which name they like best. I just think some people on here have taken the name thing more seriously than they should, and that they're missing the most important part of all this, HAVING A FURRY CONVENTION. While I wasn't happy with a lot of the choices, that really didn't matter as much as the fact that we're getting a new con up and running. I'm only disappointed at the fact that the debate over what to name the new con got too out of hand, and the staff wound up taking control with the naming. It's not your fault. I think you did your best at trying to help with forming this new convention. There's no need to feel bad about this one bit.

I am a little behind on my FA messages. Thank you for your effort! I have to agree that the most important thing is that we have a con again! I just hope they can come up with a fitting name because, to be fair to everyfur who made a suggestion and voted, it wouldn't be very fair if a suggested name that got little to no votes, got used. There were so many good names that I have to wonder if there is anything good left to use.

so, it's been a few weeks- we're all curious to know, whats the new convention name? :3
