Fursuit Help (moving jaws)

Okay, so I'm doing a few moving jaws, two for commissions (one nearly finished, the other not started) and then I'm going to do one for my own soon-to-be suit, but the problem is it moves just fine and works pretty well, until I fur it. I even cut the pattern for the fur with the mouth open as wide as it can go to assure that the fur won't just hold the jaw together, but for whatever reason the fur clogs the jaw's movement so that it won't close very well (or at all).
Does anyone know how to do a good moving jaw with a foam base (and not a floating jaw, I don't like how those look), or is it just a no-go to even try to get a foam base to have a moving jaw at all in the first place?

I've had this same trouble myself and for the foam I just had to give up, but I've seen moving jaws with foam so I know it's possible
And yeah, my understanding is that most people don't even bother with moving jaws on foam masks. It know it is possible though, I just don't know how to do it.
What I've found is that if you plan on having a moving jaw for foam you need to be planning for it right from the start and build it around that idea (I had made the mistake of making the shape of face I wanted first, then deciding how the mouth should move and it was disastrous)
All in all I think stationary mouths are perfectly adorable! lol (If you can't get it to work)
Sorry I'm not really any help ;o;
Oh and for my foam head I attempted to make it move by inserting into the foam jaw part of a hanger that I had shaped into a long "U" and put the rounded part at the end of the jaw and the line parts on either side of the jaw just to attempt to make the whole thing solid with the wearer's jaw. Added some elastic that went from the ear to the jaw (one on both sides) and it almost worked but I never really got it to move smoothly @.@ Kind of a fail, but just sharing an idea lol
What I do for moving jaws is make the lower jaw separate after the rest of the mask is done, then I attach it to the mask with rivulets on each side and use elastic hair ties to pull it so that it shuts. It works really well until I fur it.
.___. maybe this will help?
