Well, don't want to start drama, just writting about my bad mood today. :< My featherbutt is kinda burning!111
I wanted to participate in FA's Secret Santa and draw gift to a random person. Of course I didn't get any emails, and I didn't find myself in the list of accepted artists.
I thought - I'm really not a perfect artist. I don't draw that often and there are artists better than me.
Then I started to click random links in the list of accepted artists. Wow, they draw in digital and are really better than me...

on the internet noone can slap your face for being a thief. unless they live in the area.
At least I have more time for Secret Santa on other site. :(
on a german furry forum there is also a secret santa/secret easterbunny action, and even though someone tends to know the other somehow there are those who bail out after receiving their gift. and the organisators always have to run after them...

If you keep thinking like that you will have a hard time progressing further in your drawing skills. As they say practice makes perfect. An that goes with every one even top notch artists.
Also I agree with Bering comment, don't let it get to you and just be your self and continue on drawing awesomely! ^^
Anyway, popularity is important for many artists. Not everyone can draw only for himself. And it's a good chance to know what people think about your drawings.
You are correct there but mostly let your art be the main popularity. An you are true there to. ^^

Кстати, посмотрела там работы - не представляю кто людей отбирал там и почему тебя не взяли( Ерунда какая-то(
Я тут подумала, наверное перестали принимать участников из-за того, что в анкете было стопицот разных пунктов для заполнения и это всё надо было сверять и подбирать пару.
