Hi everyone!
I usually like to participate in a gift exchange every year, but a few of the places I was a part of didn't do one this year for whatever reason, SO to fill that mystery-gift-giving void in my life I decided to make one possible this year!!
It is hosted on Elfster, which makes it easy to sign up and ask questions in secret. To sign up follow this link:
http://www.elfster.com/exchange/vie.....250034/7f9f2c/
Signup deadline is by Dec 15th -- that's when the assignments get assigned. And the deadline to mail your gift is Dec 23, the Monday before Christmas.
You do not have to be an artist or crafter to participate! Items can be handmade or purchased. But please be aware that physical art or crafted items are what is encouraged to be exchanged! The exchange is intended for furries, but does not have to be a specifically "furry" craft, all art forms and gifts are welcome. We all want something fun from our Santa to open from the mail!
The spending target is between $15 to $20, and it doesn't have to be a single item but if you put together a few small items try to make it within the target range so each Santa receives around what they spend.
If possible, include in your Elfster "wishlist" section of your profile a link to your Twitter, FA page, character ref sheet(s), favorite animal(s), if you have any pets, etc! To make it easier for your Santa to get ideas. Don't worry, there IS a setting where you can make this info only available to THIS gift exchange if you are using Elfster for other exchanges too. Example: http://www.elfster.com/profile/view/7252849/
This exchange is based in the USA, this is to limit shipping costs and time spans so they aren't too much for those participating, if you are able to weigh and print shipping at home, https://www.paypal.com/ShipNow has affordable rates and you can put the package in your outgoing mailbox from home. Due to the timetable, some gifts may not get to you BY Christmas: https://www.usps.com/holiday/holida.....ping-dates.htm so try to avoid gifts FOR Christmas, try to make the gifts FOR the recipient. If that makes sense!!
Thank you for your participation!!!

What if the gift you make someone doesn't cost much to make though however?
For instance, you make someone a LARGE bottle of scently soaps, or bathsalts?
Soaps and bath salts are perfect! To put it into perspective I made a batch of wonderful handmade cold process soap and I plan to make that as part of my Secret Santa gift!
Well, I don't mind something like this, so I'm going to actually see about doing this if I can!
