Ask me about any of the characters from Last Resort, and I'll tell you:
a. What initially prompted me to write/draw them.
b. One of their best traits.
c. One of their worst traits.
d. How easy/difficult I find it to write/draw the character.
e. The moment where I feel that I truly captured the character.
f. My plans to write/draw the character in the near future.
Just ask in one of the comments, and I'll answer as fast as I can. :)

2) Slick's one of the few characters on the show with a heart of gold. Of course, this usually requires him to have something of value at the time, which is why we've not seen it in effect yet.
3) Slick's fairly arrogant / ambitious and thus often finds himself in situations over his head; it's not so much a case of incompetence as it is that he just takes on more than he can handle.
4) One of the easiest characters of the lot, save for his body language and sometimes his hair.
5) The moment hasn't appeared in the comic yet, but it IS coming (that is to say, it's been scripted) within the next 10-20 pages. You'll know it by the badass pose.
6) Which is to say, Slick finally starts showing some spine and proving his worth during the next episode. However, this also ends up drawing some serious aggro...
Jigsaw Forte and Dr. Daisy Nikita Archanis.
though... I wanna see first wing Veled soul ripped from body, guts evicerated and head on a pike.
...Suficed to say, I don't like her.
Anyway...
1) Jigsaw was... a lot more of a showgirl in her original incarnation. VERY early incarnation. The violinist details sort of grafted onto her after she turned more goth/punk as a character. (Yes, I know it doesn't show... it's mostly in her "High School Years".)
2) Jigsaw's smarter than she lets on; you'd almost have to be to keep up with Daisy, but being clever is good in its own right.
3) Jigsaw's never been "trusted" very much by her parents; as you can imagine, this also means she is in SO deep in regards to her Vampirism and joining Last Resort that she's nowhere near prepared for it.
4) Writing is easy. Drawing is sorta easy. Coloring, I need to remember to do her stripes first for simplicity's sake.
5) Not there yet, to be fair. Her Embrace into Vampirism is a likely one, though.
6) "Lay off her! She's... verklempt right now. Give it a few."
1) Daisy was always a little mad, but originally I'd designed her with a Devil Tail grafted on (Blame Gaia Online...) and the leg was from a regrowth procedure gone wrong as a result of said tail. It didn't survive as a character feature out of sheer outlandishness and the fear of it being too Mary-Sue-esque.
2) She cares for her family. REALLY cares. You could almost say it's part of the reason she's trapped on Last Resort.
3) Daisy's Autism... well, it means her senses are well off the usual scales. As a result, she's likely to freak out over things normal humans don't... Which is fine when she's the only human in the room, but as you can imagine, it complicates lots of things. I can't detail all of it here, but when her eyes get really small, don't expect her to talk.
4) Expect her leg to get redesigned later. To what, I don't know, but the current design is very clunky to me.
5) In the middle of writing up her backstory (Working Title: "Year of Fear"). There's a certain hospital scene that really pulls her character together.
6) Remember that autism I mentioned? Expect to see a panic attack soon.
And if you want Veled too, just ask. It wasn't immediately clear whether you wanted her or not as well.
2) She's rather well-traveled; becoming First Wing is a relatively recent title acquisition (even though the promotion was never in doubt), and as such it makes her one of the most educated characters in the series. As the saying goes, though, "Knowledge is power; Power corrupts..."
3) She hates her job. REALLY hates it. Sure, she's bored rather easily, but I'm just saying, if she had a job she liked, maybe she wouldn't want to torture people so much...
4) A nightmare to draw. Her main redeeming feature is in being so large she counts as scenery half the time.
5) Again, Veled's backstory really helps her character. How this carries into the main series... let's just say you'll be surprised. For starters, she's got her own stake in this show as much as anyone else.
6) Veled gets to sit and chill in executive suite from which to watch the episode play out... and get shot at. So hard to find good seating these days...
