So, massive snowstorm decided to roll through. To the point that it hit Thursday and today on the way home most of the roads STILL don't have visible lines through the ice. It's one of the rare times Arkansas actually got real, honest to god snow (Not ice that looks like snow for about 20 seconds, melts and refreezes into the slickest substance known to man. That was the first layer). Dad watched a construction ice scraper that was brought in to clear roads get stuck on the intersection of our house. On the way out I saw one of our VERY few sand trucks/snowplows in the ditch as it attempted the onramp.

I had to work still with the snowpocalypse, it wasn't a big deal, I know how to keep it safe and last night when the roads were at their worst I stayed at my old college roommates apartment for the night because I got out at midnight and had to work today as well. On the way to their apartment I had to "thread the needle" by running the two thin lines of actual pavement that was on the right hand lane, at that time a jeep set up for everything offroad was passing everyone like they were going slow... right until right next to me he went ass end first into the ditch off the road. Watched in rearview him attempt to drive out of ditch so I knew he wasn't hurt. It was kind of nice because everyone else got REALLY off my tail after that.

Also, I want to find the man who wrote "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas." and kick him.


TLDR: The Day After Tomorrow happened. I hate winter.
