It's been a long day, and I have bi-polar, I'm so sorry I nearly mistook you for them dorky kids who pick fights online. But you're a mature adult, who's better than me because sometimes I just lose my shit and take it out on the world. Bollocks. T^T
I'm really really sorry.
To clear up, I was just angry at the hipsters, and yeah, I guess none of the other art sites are hipster, but it bugged me that other people were getting pissed at FA's hiatus, saying the staff should be shot, despite this site being a free community site, that the morons saying that stuff didn't have anything better to do with their time than be online. -.-;
I hope I didn't make an enemy, I didn't want to, but I should've held my tongue. T^T
though I do have to say, that FA downtime is a problem for people who make money through this site through commissions and I've known a few that have had their emails available but commissioners make no attempt to contact them, so a second fall back art-site may be a good alternative, for the downtime of FA.
But yeah, it's so true, and it really bugged me that people blame the staff. It's a hard job keeping up a free website on such a big server.
While that may be true, I believe that ALL artists and commissioners should swap e-mail addresses as to avoid communication failures. Relying on websites for communication is unreliable, and everyone here knows it. :/ Be more prepared, artists! When I take commissions, the first thing I ask for is an e-mail address that I know to be on a reliable server (g-mail, hotmail, virginmedia etc)
