First Semester of College FINISHED! + Weasyl

Welp, seems like FA lives again! This has to be the longest outage I've experienced by far... In the likelihood that it does happen again, allow me to direct you to my Weasyl account: https://www.weasyl.com/profile/chromefox. I don't update it THAT much, since this is my main account, after all. But I will be trying to add more stuff onto there with time, so feel free to add me to your watch list, if you do have an account there already! X3
Anyway, I also wanted to take this moment to let you all know that I just finished my very first semester of art college and am now on winter break! It has been a really hectic 15 weeks of drawing still-lifes, painting with gouache, cutting and gluing objects, writing essays, and losing sleep EVERY SINGLE WEEK. Barely had any time to work on art or have breaks longer than a day at most. Some projects were just stressful as hell, especially ones for the "Form and Space" class in which we made three-dimensional objects from various materials such as artist's cardboard, mat board, and pine molding. Any defect such as a segment under the required measurement or a glue stain showing can cost you a grade. Cardboard and mat board projects were the absolute worst because the utility knife can slip when you're not careful, ruining a perfectly measured piece and wasting precious material that you spent money on.
On the plus side, I have made some awesome new friends and as it turns out, I'm the best at drawing in my group. "Life Drawing" and "Drawing and Composition" are my best classes, as I've received almost nothing but A's and got mad praise from my peers and teachers. However, I'm not really used to being considered the "best student", as this usually never happened to me in the past... >3>;; Even though it's like a dream come true, it feels weird especially knowing that almost everyone is really jealous of me. <:I May take a while to get used to it, but all's I'm saying is I have no intention of outshining everyone in the class and getting all the attention from the teachers.
But in the meantime, I'm really digging everything so far despite the heavy workloads and I'm always excited about showing up to class every day!
Since I'm finally on break, on top of kicking back and taking a month-long breather before things get harder next semester, I'm gonna try to catch up on my art and even do a couple of pictures that I owe to some people
