Some quick thoughts about Phil Robertson (Duck Dynasty)
“We never, ever judge someone on who’s going to heaven, hell. That’s the Almighty’s job. We just love ’em, give ’em the good news about Jesus—whether they’re homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort ’em out later, you see what I’m saying?” -Phil Robertson
Sooooo…….. why isn't *this* quote being circulated around the internet…? I have to say, I don't believe homosexuality is a sin, but I just can't understand why everybody is getting so worked up about this.
If you actually look at what he said, basically all he said was 'I believe homosexuality is a sin'. And he later says 'but we still love them'. Since when does saying you disagree with something and/or don't understand it land you in the media hellfire???

It's just that people don't want to mix at all…. it's much more fun to yell at the other side and claim you're better than they are.
……
(I'm sorry…. I'm a rat. I have an evil sense of humor :P)
“I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. We’re going across the field … They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’ — not a word! … Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.”
He's making a statement on welfare, not the Jim Crow laws. He's just talking about his personal experience- I'm sure he knows that blacks were mistreated but he didn't see that.
Tolerance is quickly becoming a skin deep phenomenon. There is no tolerance for different ideas. This is the poison of political correctness rearing its vile head.
On a side note, I heard that in New jersey the Left pulled their own gay marriage bill so that they they could strip out its protections for religious freedom at the request of activists. Seriously? Have we no respect for our neighbor anymore?
