Couldn't you technically put pictures you "don't want" right now in scraps? On DA, we put ours in storage. >_>;; *likes some old art but embarrassed by others, keeps switching between that* It seems too extreme to delete things cause then you regret it like: Noo, I needed that pic. OTL *rambling*

You could always upload them to the main gallery, then move them to scraps after a while if you decide to move them?

It seems like a good idea at first, but you most always end up regretting it later on, especially if you have no way of getting any of those files back.
