Been looking into -maybe- upgrading my PC, and when I say upgrade, I mean an entirely new one XD
I have 2 motherboards I'm looking at and don't know which I want.

Basically I just want a fast gaming / casual computer. If I do get one of these, I would put two 4 gig 1633 DDR3 RAM sticks in it, as well as my current video card http://tinyurl.com/chou5e9
As for CPU I was thinking http://enuinc.com/index.php?l=produ.....ail&p=1655 or one of similar specs.
So my question is, which motherboard do you think is best, and why?
Also, I would like to know if my 700 watt power supply would be sufficient for this build.

dad seems to know ALOT about computers. I'll link him this journal via skype and have him look at it when he wakes up
And considering that RAM is pretty inexpensive, it's worth getting 16GB! Still, no reason you couldn't start with 8 and upgrade later.
Also, http://www.newegg.com/ :p they've got excellent search for PC parts.
It isn't -that- much more. And there's likely no need to replace your PSU, unless you have specific problems running with it.
Also, price compare Amazon and Newegg. Sometimes one is better than the other.
Also, Newegg has a promo right now with a $20 bundle discount if you buy the CPU + Mobo together. http://promotions.newegg.com/intel/.....ml?icid=227035

power req for the Graphics card is 400 minimum..and apparently the CPU is pretty low on power consumption too. so 700w should be good (if not dare i say maybe even slightly overkill depending on the rest of your system. but its better to have more and not use it, since it leaves room for upgrades and other components too.)
Again as Zeeky says.. make sure the on-board sound is good for your needs too, Although the last gigabyte mobo i had had a pretty damn amazing built in sound system. (although personally no issues when i had realtek..but their one of those company's you'll seem to either love, or have nothing but issues with XD)
Although as Firon says..if your looking for heavy duty gaming, i would recommend dumping any spare money you might have left over in to a higher end cpu..although Intel is crazy expensive as you go higher end.. ((Seriously..£1100 for the new octo-cores..i know they have the hyper thread tech..but..geez..i payed less than that for my entire pc i have now.. o..o))
hope it helps! (although probably not.. XD)
Built a computer recently. :P If you want more detailed help, add me on skype.
