DUDE, the same exact thing happened to me a few weeks ago :(

I have had this one friend who was like my BEST friend since 2007 when I met her, and she only just told me a few weeks back when we had a short argument that the only reason she hung around me in the first place is because people in the church told her to because I am apparently immature and they thought putting her with me would help :(
It's like the worst feeling ever. And something was always fishy about the friendship because she'd always argue against whatever I thought or wanted to do, and it just sucks knowing I wasted all my time on a fake...

It's happened to me too... Maybe not a best friend but

One stopped really playing with me and left me alone where I had literally no one to go to, I talked to teachers but they just told me to 'go play with your friends' but I didn't have any... They had all gone and left me alone and I didn't dare go near cos I'd just be bullied by the people they were playing with

Another moved away when I was about 3 and I didn't see them until I started secondary school (when I was 11) and we were friends for a couple months but we had an argument over a tiny stupid thing and she said she 'we can't be friends cos we are too different'

Also I've had alota trust issues with some friends...

But that's not the point, I'm here for ya, you're an awesome person and don't think you weren't good enough for them. They weren't good enough for YOU. People do this so much, even to the best of people xx *huggle*
