I'm sorry to hear he's gone from this world, but take solace in that he's not gone forever. So long as you remember him and the times you had together, he's never truly gone. I'm sure he'd want you to enjoy your Christmas and your wedding just as much whether he was here or not, so remember that, and don't let this keep you from living the happy life he wanted for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I only met him the one time we went over to your place for the furmeet, but it warms my heart to see how much you cared for him. He'll be guiding you now, and he will be there for everything you do in life... your wedding, the holidays, etc...

Just keep your head up. It's tough; I lost a really close family friend last year who was practically my second mother and it devastated me for a while. I know how hard it can be. Take all the time you need to collect yourself and remember all of the good he brought you in your life. <3
