christmas eve was p awful for me ngl
first thing I woke up to was a pukefest, and right now I kind of feel like I'm gonna puke again, but
i hope everyone else had a better one than me
Being miserably ill definitely took its toll on my cheer, but so did a lot of other factors.
But I don't wanna be a big humbug, 'cause there was good among the bad.
I bought my gf and I a bunch of Borderlands 2 DLC to play together, also bought her Psychonauts, which the two of us played side-by-side over mic until I got too ill to play (was worried about all the moving colours triggering motion sickness, I really didn't wanna puke again, and still don't)
and then last night, when my stomach settled a bit, we Boderlandsed, and I kept getting vertigo any time I jumped from any ledge, even small ones qoq
But it was still fun, and we got to laugh together on mic, and it was nice.
And then not too long ago, I got woken up for presents, during which I got a scanner!! since my old one got broken, I'm really happy about that. I hope this one's nice.
In any case, I'm going to go lay back down and hope to god my stomach doesn't decide to regurgitate whatever small amount of whatever it's got in it.

I was sick one year as well. Spent all of Boxing day puking in bed and passing out while watching LotR, lol.
Pretty sweet you got a scanner tho. That sounds helpful.
Yesss, I've been wanting a new one veer since my cats killed the old one. I'll be sure to be way more careful with it this time, too, I rely on scanners way too much. qq Cameras make an okay substitute, but nothing really beats a good scanner. I'll have to plug it in and install it soon.
I KIND OF WISH I ASKED FOR MORE, but I mean, I'm gonna be needing train ticket money from my parents in January to go see Nessa, so asking for anything else would have been a bit much. Especially since the only other things I'd want are some specific copics, and those aren't exactly cheap. @<@
I always feel guilty for asking for too much! Like, write a long list you don't expect to get everything from and that way it's still sort of a surprise what you do get. Or, yeah. Something!
Maize likes to try and walk on my tablet too, and I have to flail my arms at her to get her to walk around it. I feel like she might be the reason it's starting to act up.
Same, Christmas (and my birthday) is usually the only time I can ever get away with asking for anything though, so I usually have these big lists. They've gotten smaller and smaller over the recent years though, usually I'd just ask for a new sketchbook and maybe some refills on my art supplies, but ever since Nessa started shoving gifts at me, I've had even less to ask for. @@ It gives me some more room to focus on important stuff now, at least. Like doctor appointments and the like.
