So, with my boyfriend Jag's help, I managed to spend the remainder of my Christmas money (half of which I spent on clothes) on a tablet. Thing is, it's not the one I expected to get; I wanted to, at first, get a Wacom drawing tablet, so I could do online art. But that wound up falling through, and I figured that, with my only means of getting online being my desktop (which isn't portable), a regular tablet PC would work, just as well. Looked into a Nextbook, but the version I wanted wound up getting sold out before I decided to get it, mostly because Jag insisted on waiting until his stuff got in the mail before we could get it. That's fine; I understood his insistence. Thing is, he felt so bad for making me miss the last tablet that he offered to pitch in the difference for a slightly more expensive tablet. Fortunately, the one we got was just slightly more expensive than the Nextbook; an Asus MeMO Pad. Works out better, in the long run, methinks, since it has better reviews than the Nextbook did. He even got me a case for it. So, now I have a tablet, and I need to figure out how the hell to use it. Wish me luck, people, and merry Christmas.
