Micro pig? O.=.O

People breed pigs to stay genetically smaller than average to keep as pets
usually referred to as mini pigs or micro pigs
they on average get 50-70 lbs when fully grown
unless overfed

Do they...use a litterbox, or a doggie door? I know some have pigs as pets, but know nothing of how they're kept.

they're simple to litter box train
and training them is similar to dogs without being dogs

They're also better for people with allergies, if I recall. Enjoy your new friend.

although training our pig will be more fun
he has an alpha attitude which the way to maintain alpha status is

I won't let animals push me around
if you saw my dads dog when I first arrive he gets excited and as soon as he notices im looking at him
he lays down tucks his tail and rolls over onto his back
he doesn't misbehave around me because I was the only one who really paid much attention to him
he's extremely submissive to me

I wonder how much of a challenge the pig will be

my dads dog was not alpha to begin with but he still gave a little fight at first

Most dogs just want to be happy and make us happy.
The more time one spends with them, the more they settle down...usually.
Pigs are smart. It will get the idea...but I predict some orneryness.
