where are you from?

It's a place far away on another planet. I came here traveling via the Astral Plane with my life mates for a faithfulness test that our High Priestess and High Priest sent us on while our bodies lay in a type of sleep stasis back home. Our souls were reborn into human bodies and our test was to be faithful to each other throughout several lives and then we could return home and resume our lives there (with magic and such time passing there would only be several weeks while here it's been more than five thousand years). I just learned of it recently (in the past several months actually) and I'm still recovering memories as I go. After all, I've uncovered pieces of a few past lives here on Earth and then now the memories of my life there (I'm basically an elf with a tiger spirit guide bonded to me). My life mates, Kaias and Azarian (both identical twin brothers--something that is rare for my people) came with as part of the test and ended up born into one body (because they're so close as is). We sought each other out in each life we were born in and we could only be with the other and no one else otherwise the test was failed and we'd never be able to return home. When we were reborn here, we lost our memories of our home so as to not stand out from humans. Though because of our soul bonds to each other, when we met the other, we knew there was something there but could never figure it out until later when we realized we fell in love with the other.
But back home I'm a wind priestess and can speak with the wind and hear it speak (which in this life here, I can 'hear' it as well but not as strongly as I would back home). Azarian is a Seer, or one that can see the future. It's not precise as depending the actions of a person, the future can change. Kaias is our Protector. He took training as a warrior since we do have Protectors and all. I have a white tiger guide (there's a whole people that are our guides and seek us out when we're young and bond to our soul so we can use the magic of being able to turn into said animal). Kaias has a silvery white fox. Azarian has a white tiger. Well...had one. For some reason, his guide, Azyra manifested as a black panther here. When we returned home for a visit and turned into his white tiger form, the mixture of the black panther here and white tiger there turned him into a black tiger. It's something unheard of with being able to change into another form by any of our guide's kin. So it's all a little confusing on that part, even for our High Priestess and High Priest. (We're able to visit via our High Priestess pulling us back while keeping a soul link to our body here for the length overnight and return by morning light though we could be there for a couple days' worth at a time on our home's end--usually by the lunar eclipse because it's when magic is strongest though she has pulled us for a couple of full moons as well when magic is still strong.)

Okay.....

I mean, here and now I'm human. I know that. And I'm glad to have been born into this life as a human. I love my human mother and my human family and my human friends. I just have the soul of an elf (with a tiger combined) that one day I'll return to. I do miss my home but I chose to stay here too. If I went home, I'd have died in this life. All my past lives I've never made it far in life. The longest I lived was at least thirty in my ancient Greek life. Every life after that, I never made it past twenty (due to a curse upon my soul incurred my ancient Greek life that was broken a couple of years ago). And I plan on making this the longest lived human life I've ever had.
