This year man, this year.

So 2013 has been a really good year for me, so much has happened and so many new friends have been made
Since I started going to meets in the early part of the year I've met a tonne of awesome people from both the Birmingham and Stafford meets, and also Manchester and Leeds too. Seriously, you guys are all so great to me <3
I'm really glad I made the choice to get out and start socializing more which didn't come from any great new years resolution or anything, it was more because I had registered for Confuzzled and then realized I didn't know any furs offline. So in an act of near panic I threw myself into the deep end and got to as many meets as I could manage
As well as new friends my work prospects are also looking up. At the end of last year the company I have worked for for around 3 years on a casual agreement took me on full time and also offered me an apprenticeship which I accepted.
Now, Plant engineer (or any engineering for that matter) is not something I wanted to get into or ever saw myself doing, but at the time I figured I would have been stupid to refuse an offer like that. As it turns out I am actually enjoying the course, while there is the downside of me being stuck in the middle of nowhere for 3-6 weeks at a time.
My art is also improving since I started drawing earlier on in the year (the whole art a day thing died rather quickly ^-^')
All in all, this year has been one of the best years to memory, sure things have gone wrong, but I still wouldn't change this for the anything <3
