Year In Review- What Does 2013 Say?

General
It's been an interesting year. Mask up when you're ready to roll.
It's hard to really point to stuff that I did this particular year as opposed to other years that I would have much to write about. The cons were good, overall. Midfur was Midfur. FurDU was so completely different, and amazingly fun in it's own way. I think it's more the type of con that suits me, since it is more activity based than panel based.
It didn't feel like long after RivFur that my birthday struck again. There really wasn't much to it this year, just a dinner with family and close friends. On my birthday proper,
thelionkingscarr came with me to the WWE World Tour in Melbourne, which was a great night, despite the distinct lack of Dolph Ziggler.
Off the back of FurDU I decided to head up to Queensland again for RivFur. The con was good fun and definitely enjoyable, but I don't think I'll be going back again.
For the second time, Mattfest was held in early November at the Armidale Furry Convention Centre with
inkfire and her future husband Mancub. I am truly proud to be head of transport and logistics for such a fantastic event.
Scarr and I have also taken up cricket. It's been years since either of us have played, but we are getting better every week, and I think I've settled into place as an opening bat, even managing to score 58 in our last match.
There was some sadness this year, as my dog passed only a few weeks after I received the fursuit I had made in his image. He was my best friend for 13 years, and there isn't a day that goes by where I don't miss him. Scarr was a great help getting me through when he died, and I know that like me, he is waiting for the day when we'll see each other again.
Still lacking an official partner, but hopefully that will change soon. Watch this space.
