Ok to make a long story very short, my bro refused to get a job and pay his rent for 6 months now so my mom and I have been struggling even more to pay rent and bills etc. we were struggling before this but not this bad. hes in school sorta a trades course but he thinks hes entitled to not help cause of that and eats everything uses everything leaves when he wants demands a key neglects his cats so we have to pay for them cant get rid of them he threatens to get rid of my rats or the dogs. cant tell him to leave he has no where to go and he's tried to kill himself 2 times. SO here we are hes at my dads for the holidays being spoiled having told them god knows what and we had NO christmas, NOTHING we been living off one turkey given to us on the 26th....ok I cant stand to see my mom keep crying she likes to lay blame on me but im the one trying to help. I love her I just dont like her right now but I still want to help and keep my house. so rent is due very soon and we don't have the money cause my employer is dicking me around with hours and i get under minimum wage 10hr ...i only got 4..4 hours this entire month...so I get 40 bucks in 2 weeks thats not going to help me at all. I need help like really bad and I dont want to seem petty or detour people from buying from me in the future but if ever I needed your help its now!. I'm scared I've been homeless before I dont want to do it again. sure we had this scare before but this time its very real cause thats 6 months we lost we cant catch up. i dont know how much longer i'll have internet so please contact me ASAP I draw I sew. look at my other accounts and my suit webbie I need all the help I can get!

you might try looking into local soup kitchens for food, or food stamps if you're not making enough money.
as far as a job goes, hunt till your fingers fall off from filling out applications. temp agencies really help with this. Also mcdonalds isnt as bad as it seems. its minimum wage, but requires no skill, no previous work experience, and generally they'll give you hours if you work the odd ones or rush hours.
worst comes worst look into local labor and carpenters unions as sometimes they have apprenticeship programs where you work while you learn (better than going straight to trade school). all i had to do was pass a math test, an interview, and a 3 day boot camp.
The chances of you changing people is astronomically small. They must change on their own. And if you choose them, and it is hurting you, it may very well be the end of you.
Something is going to give, be it they change or you run yourself into the ground. If you arent able to stand on two feet (or stand at all for that matter) you will not be able to help them. If you are gone, who will help them?
I understand small town, I understand fighting the normative in them. Its hard is an understatement. But it seems to me, if there are so few jobs in this place, that not one is hiring (or willing to hire you) then you should try going outside the town. If you've exhausted all job options in the local area, then what will staying get you? If you leave, and set up shop elsewhere, then at least you can send money back, or make a livable situation for your mother and brother if thats what you wish.
As far as welfare goes, you are employed. You received hours this month yes? if welfare refuses then look into underemployment.
If anything talk to your local churches. If they dont have a place or help for you, they might at least for your mother.
I might also suggest rehoming the animals, all of them. They will receive better care, they will be happy, and it will give you a chance to get back on your feet as well.
i reiterate, being standing on two feet able to help or being run into the ground because the same people you try and help wont let you stay upright?
it just seems like to me shooting yourself in the foot. one way you KNOW pretty much for sure you'll end up in a bad situation. the other at least you have the chance for a good outcome.
Good for you though, moving out. sometimes it takes a good hard fall on the butt for people to wake up, smell the Folgers, and change themselves.
