Update, I'm not dead yet!

First off, sorry if I'm really pessimistic or otherwise kinda bitchy but I've been sick last few days. My nose has been stopped up so badly I barely manage a couple hours of sleep at night and it's kinda having a toll on my emotional state so, please bear with me.
As of the moment, Tall Dark 'n' Handsome *my main computer* is down with video card failure. I may or may not be able to get him running again on the same card but it's unstable. I'ts sustained too much long term overheating that the board is warped or the solder joints are cracked or something of that nature. *please don't suggest the heat gun trick I've tried it a couple of times already* So until I can make room in my budget for getting even a cheap card, which I should be able to early January, I'm stuck on stumpy. Which that leads me to the next part...
Stumpy is running kinda okay now. I was able to upgrade it some with components from an old throw away system so now he's running a /stable/ 512 MB of ram *previously had a bad stick from amazon, I haven't had the best of luck with them with my last purchase* and the cpu is upgraded from a 566Mhz celeron to a 866Mhz Pentium 3. The downside of the P3 though is that I'm fairly sure it's overheating. After a number of hours of use the system will either freeze or reboot itself without any say so from me so, yeah. On the bright side though steam will run *but not skype for some reason* and Paint Tool Sai works very smoothly for me so I can get some drawing done. So not all bad.
Again, I'm sorry if I piss anyone off right now or if I seem like I'm severly distraught. Between a lack of sleep and difficulties with my cold I'm not a happy camper. So, for now I guess it's orange juice, chicken soup and meds, meds, meds, and more meds. I'll see you guys tomorrow. Lots of love to everyone.

I've got a few laying around as well but there's only so much you can fit onto one of these old gateway flex systems. I need to see about moving it into another case somewhere that is easier to cool, but then it just wouldn't look like stumpy anymore. *yeah, I'm a crazy oaf*
Get well soon :3 And yay for being alive \:D!/
