I've been thinking about what I want to accomplish art-wise in the near future, and I've come to a few determinations about that. What better time than New Year's Day to announce them? Think of these as my resolutions for 2014.

1. The Lizard Queen Chronicles comic will resume this year. After all, that's what I started this account for in the first place, and I think that's still the best way to present my characters and stories. I'm not going to abandon the other things I like to draw, but I feel like the comic needs to be the central focus of my artwork.

2. I need to work on creating more interesting male characters. I love my ladies, but I'd like to have more of a balance of genders. I have few male characters, and the ones I do have tend to be dull and/or underdeveloped. I think the issue is that I tend to create characters based on sex appeal, and when I do, they're going to be females. I need to learn more about what makes compelling characters and apply that to my own work.

3. I'd like to do some Livestreaming this year. I'm not sure just what I'll be Livestreaming--the comic? Commissions? Random things I feel like drawing? Maybe a little bit of everything.

4. This isn't really a resolution, but I think I'd like to continue the story of Yofi losing her boot in the elevator doors. Feel free to post your ideas and suggestions if you have any.
